Yep. You're new to this club. Tons of us have done the same for the same reasons. I recommend new bronco sport owners to hyperdip their white badges rather than plastidip. Higher quality, better finish, longer lasting. Can get it at dipyourcar.com
My 7 month wait was a walk in the park compared to all my NFA devices and current pending ones with one approaching the 400 day mark. So I don't really have any sympathy for this subject whatsoever. Waiting for exactly what you want is the way.
Fellow audiophile here. I agree it's pretty lackluster, but I purchased the b&o for the extra speaker cavities and NOT the stock sound. I always planned on replacing all of it. Just not any time soon due to other expenses.
Their repair kit is laughable. Not trying to bring your hopes down but they sent me that too. I have it somewhere around here. I believe I have pictures of it on my phone too. I'll post if I find them.
Well then I hate your face...but only a little. It's just pure jealousy.
So your clips always fit around the lip of the fender and the underside without coming up short of the rectangular hole they're supposed to fit in?
That would be the ideal scenario. Even if they fixed them to have 3M tape on the lip that would fix the problem with the gap. Now the issues with clips simply NOT fitting to where they're supposed to go, that's another thing.
Correct. There's a fab shop I was recommended to by my dealership that says they'll make it a permanent add-on for $600 but I don't know what that means. As far as materials they'll use. So I just have my 3rd set of flares in the garage and haven't bothered with them.
Nice! I also shop exclusively at discount tire. Last 3 sets came from you. Glad you're onboard.
Just to add to the whole putting 5 tires into rotation thing, Ford is responsible for making that not possible. Even IF you got the full-sized spare with your bronco, if you got a Badlands like me...
That's my fear of taking it to those kids that are just making a paycheck at the dealership. I don't feel it'll get fixed. Oddly enough I don't notice the buzzing very much anymore. Like it rattled itself loose or something. It's very sporadic when it happens and then I'm like: oh, yeah...that...
Naturally I would do just that but I have ZERO confidence in the "technicians" at ANY of the dealerships after what I've been through on the mf'n fender flares. It's just fake it till you make it over there. All 6 locations in my area weren't trained in any aftermarket installation and even tho...
Kind of an unintentional, (I'm sure) click bate title. I thought this was gonna be about how to make the damn OEM fender flare add-ons actually stick without any gapping over time. Forlorned am I.
