The factory plastic steering wheel is an embarrassment as well sticky in the summer and frigid in the winter. I didn't have my BB a week b4 I purchased a leather one from LKQ. Best under $100 mod I did. In hindsight, I was unaware the control pods would swap over to the ST (or RS) wheels. I for sure would have purchased one of those instead!

I would like it if the red stitching matched an interior red stitching. I'd get that red stitching to black which isn't hard to do.

I completely agree. The feel to the touch is terrible. That's why we exchanged it. :)

Great idea! Changing the thread to black would look fantastic!

Another reason I’m glad I decided to go all out. The Badlands has a leather-wrapped wheel already. And it’s heated, which is of questionable value here in the Phoenix valley.

I don't think it's actually leather, as the window sticker just describes it as "premium wrapped," but I have appreciated the heating the last couple of days.

We just bought a nice leather steering wheel cover, done. It has a red stripe at the top center & red stitching to match the exterior color.

Which version has a plastic steering wheel? All of them here have eco-leather.
I know our Big Bend has it & IIRC the base model does also.

My 2025 BB does not have a plastic steering wheel. It's the eco-wrapped version.
