The skids aren’t really going to affect the diff temps. They’re also locking the ctr/rear diff and flooring it constantly in sand. Even wheeling you’re not gonna run rpm’s that high. Is more that Ford uses like a half quart of fluid in the rear diff. Even my Acura took almost three times that and would never see the wear the BL will. So using clutch packs with barely any fluid is bad juju. I’m gonna change my rear fluid at 15k even though Ford says 30k. Did my engine oil at 4k miles and already had fuel dilution and less than ideal viscosity. I’ve had mine off-road for few hours with ctr locked and intermittent rear “locked” without any issues. But I’m also going 8mph or less, not 30+ spinning tires in hot ass sand.

It's fantastic that your making these for the BS. I have a Badlands with a lift, larger tires and an aluminum front skid plate (Rally Innovations). I agree with Escape2Bronco that the main areas I've seen damage to my rig are the felt under the drivers side (about a quarter gone at this point) and the front lower bumper area (multiple saves by my skid plate). I wheel mine pretty hard and am looking forward to being one of your first customers for complete skids and sliders. Thanks!

my only damage was on the passenger side pan. Luckily my felt is still GTG. So far. Same basic setup it sounds. I’m looking forward to seeing this one come to fruition.

Here’s another picture courtesy of @lbjailer showing the damage that can easily happen to the front bumper. This to me is first and foremost the area that you can absolutely help in.

Keep up the good work. The BS crowd will support you if you take care of us. Thank you for supporting our platform. The hype of aftermarket parts at the start of production died off with most items never getting past prototype stage. We appreciate a manufacturer who steps up and actually does what they claim they can do. I hope you make a fortune off BS owners ; )

Final revision on the front skid! Has a removable panel to access the oil filter and access to the drain plug!

We will be adding some bash plates for the lower front bumper, that will be a separate product.

That looks SHARP! Love it! I used my OEM bash quite a bit this weekend. Went rock gardening.

Here is our evap and slider rending. We are going to have to get a prototype in hand to sort out slider strength. They might require a similar skid on passenger side to tie sliders into.

I like the idea of protecting those fuel lines. But that’s probably just me LOL.
