Skid plate and slider prototyping - JcrOffroad

Hey JCR, these look fantastic! Is there any significant loss of ground clearance with these skids and the sliders?

Bronco Sport Front Engine Skid Plate by JcrOffroad!

Just like Bluebaru I believe I will switch out my Rally Innovations front skid for your set once you get the piece for the front underside of the front bumper. That piece has saved the nose pieces of my Sport Badlands rig several times now.

New Woolworth lift kit installed on Bronco Sport Badlands (photos & video)

Congratulations on the lift. I installed the same lift on my Badlands around May 2022 along with 245/70/R17 Falken Wildpeak A/T's. I wheel it hard and so far no problems. The lift makes the Badlands the car I hoped it would be when I bought it and I love surprising the heck out of the Jeep guys...

Skid plate and slider prototyping - JcrOffroad

It's fantastic that your making these for the BS. I have a Badlands with a lift, larger tires and an aluminum front skid plate (Rally Innovations). I agree with Escape2Bronco that the main areas I've seen damage to my rig are the felt under the drivers side (about a quarter gone at this point)...

BS Badlands Does Black Bear Pass!

Hi, I have the stock full size that came with the BS. Was told that would work fine for a temp spare by my dealers custom shop. I do have ACC and it works great, no problems. Going on 6 months with the lift, skid plate and tires upgrade and I couldn’t be happier. I definitely recommend getting a...

BS Badlands Does Black Bear Pass!

Haven't heard from them. To be a little more exact, my lift is 1-3/4" in the front and 1-1/2" in the rear. The extra lift they provided was the whole reason I went with them. They way I calculated my total lift and new ground clearance was 1.75" for the lift plus .75" for the tire is 2.5"...

BS Badlands Does Black Bear Pass!

I have the lift from Woolworth Racing in Las Vegas and the Rally Innovations front skid plate. The skid plate design concerned me at first since there are no attach bolts at the front edge of the plate and I was concerned that the front of the plate could catch in terrain and peel back. I guess...

BS Badlands Does Black Bear Pass!

Finally got a small block of time free and made the 13 hour drive from my home in SoCal to Telluride, CO to do Black Bear Pass. Heard so much about this trail I wanted to see how my Badlands would hold up. Happy to say all the way through with only a minor snag of the felt liner under the...

    Question about ground clearance

I Have a 2022 BS Badlands with 245/70/R17 Falken Wildpeak A/T's at 30.5" in diameter with a 1.75" lift kit. It was necessary to make a minor trim to the pinch seam at the rear part of the front fender wells to get the tires to fit without rubbing. All told the lift and the tires gives my just...

    Fender Flares

Local Ford dealer did the install and they had to grind a bit at the rear side of the front wheel wells only. Here's some pictures that Robbie Woolworth (who makes the kits) posted here showing the recommended trimming. I've had it installed for about 3 months now and so far am very happy...

    Fender Flares

Hi, yes. Tires are 245/70/R17 Wildpeaks. I have the 1 3/4" lift from Woolworth Motorsports and the aluminum front skid plate from Rally Innovations. Had to do some some minor trimming on the inner front fenderwells to get them to fit with no rubbing, but I enjoy aggressive off-roading and I'm...

    BL Front Skid Plate Options

First save for the Rally Innovations front skid on my BS Badlands. Slid off my line on a descent on the Drinkwater Flats trail in SoCal and took a rock right to the nose! Pretty solid bang with a little scraping thrown in but no damage to the vehicle and the skid plate held it's shape. Very glad...

    BL Front Skid Plate Options

That seems like a good idea. If these bolts do start taking damage I think I'll try that.

    BL Front Skid Plate Options

Shop decided against the washers thinking that damage would still occur and the washers would make it very difficult to remove and replace damaged bolts. Not sure if I agree or not but am going to run like this for a while and see how it works out.

Bronco Base Build: 2" level kit, 30.5" BFG KM3 tires, light bar, 4" Rigid light pods

First wheeling today after installing Robby's lift kit on my Sport Badlands. Total clearance increase with the 1-3/4" lift kit and the 245/70/R17 Falken Wildpeak AT3's was about 2-1/2". Also installed the aluminum front skid by Rally Innovations. Significant improvement off-road. Did a pretty...

    BL Front Skid Plate Options

So I have the Rally Innovations front skid plate installed along with the 1-3/4" lift from Robby Woolworth and the 245/70/R17 Falken Wildpeak AT3W's. Total added ground clearance is about 2-1/2". The front skid looks pretty nice, it's made from sturdy aluminum and it does not impact approach...

    BL Front Skid Plate Options

My local Ford dealer here in SoCal is doing the install and they have stock of them. But a lot of places sell them. I googled "conical washer" and got a lot of hits, even Amazon sells them.
