I get both water (canteen) bottles and 16oz soda bottles to fit there. Never lost one. Maybe those water bottles aren't the right form. If you're packing spares or reloads for road tripping, the door is the wrong place anyhow. Get a cooler. There are Bronco-branded coolers on the Ford accessory website. I think they're like that so Ford can sell the car with 13 included cupholders. Cupholders have taken over for other comparative stats like wheelbase or horsepower in cars.

Side Door Cup Holder Issue – Any Fixes?

Hey everyone,

I’ve noticed the side door cup holders in my Bronco Sport aren’t very functional—standard water bottles tend to tip or fall out, other drink types don't fit well.

I've searched high and low for a fix but haven’t found anything solid.

Anyone out there figured out a clever solution? I know this group has some creative minds—would love to hear your thoughts!

A 32oz Nalgene or hydroflask fits perfectly. Honestly one of my favorite features of the BS cause most cars don’t have a spot for a bottle that size.

I stuff all the crap in the door pockets ,paper napkins , hot sauce packets, screwdriver, flashlight granola bars, I just squeeze in a bottle. Works fine

Yes but those with OCD wouldn’t have all that stuffed into the door pockets .. preferring the clean look but unfortunately will have the flying water bottle

Mine has a couple of sunglasses holders, and various other things but no room for a bottle

Actually I like that two water bottles lay back stored into that recess, one hidden. In the more open also not level holder spot I have a tape measure currently. To drink a bottle I have it in the console holder.

I've been looking at mine trying to figure them out, then it occurred to me that a Nalgene bottle might fit. Sure enough, the designer intentionally made perfect Nalgene holders. Now they don't end up rolling around under the front seats!
