I've been looking at mine trying to figure them out, then it occurred to me that a Nalgene bottle might fit. Sure enough, the designer intentionally made perfect Nalgene holders. Now they don't end up rolling around under the front seats!
How many ounces was your bottle? 32oz like this?

Got another idea for you all! Get some Sticky-Back Velcro. One bit in the door, the other on your bottle !

The original question was about these types of 500 mL disposable water bottles which of course we all know is bad for the environment and is bad for all living things that cannot consume plastics.

We all agree that it is better to use reusable, non-plastic (some safer option) containers but sometimes like it or not passengers bring along the disposables.

Personally I use a 32oz tapered Tumbler Hydro Flask that fits in the ~2.9” center console cup holders (this type of bottle is too tall for the side cup holders in the doors). The lid and straw help to contain accidental spills. The flex boot for the Tumbler bottom is useful if the metal Hydro Flask is dropped and helps to prevent scratches to the center console cup holders.

Yes, I posted originally and agree with you. But I usually refill a bottle up to 20 times before I dispose of it with our tapwater.

Right … I wasn’t referring to you … in general passengers in my experience tend to use one and toss when empty then grab another full 500 mL disposable

And now we are being told the water we buy comes complete with forever chemicals and other undesirable content 😳 ( not that the water out of the tap is perfect )
