Just tuned 40k with my 21'. Love it each time I get in. Super dependable, no down side at all.
Planning on making a long term commitment....years and miles to go before we stop.
I guess it comes down to ...drive your own drive , other opinions not with standing. Windows and sun roof open for me as much as I can. Love the feeling of being outside.
I've been totally enamored of my 21 bl/bl. A couple recalls, easy peassy fixes, regular maintenance, and years of otherwise trouble free driving. Not much to bitch about.
And just like that, after an hour wait, a brand new shinny AGM battery! Under the recall.
So far at 38k, no complaints, outstanding dependable service and top shelf fun.
The love affair continues
I stuff all the crap in the door pockets ,paper napkins , hot sauce packets, screwdriver, flashlight granola bars, I just squeeze in a bottle. Works fine

I park in a locked garage. I leave my keys hidden in the sport. I don't lock the car when I leave. From time to time , returning to the car, I find the drivers door only locked. I have to walk to the passenger side to hit the unlock button. Thoughts? I would like it to stop. Out driving I...
A follow-up thought, it most likely makes sense to do a 4wheel alignment when getting new rubber. Even with only a reasonable amount of on road time ,kicks the suspension around some.
Small price to help preserve the new tire investment, and over all better road experience.
A vote for the Falken wild peaks, I got the AT-3s, AT-4s should be just as good if not better. Love them for a year +, expect them to be there for me for many more to come. Two solid crappy winters of driving. Great results. I used, Tire Rack, had a local shop do all the grunt work. Out the...
Regarding rear brake pads, I was down to <2mm @ 36k ,for the 21 BL.
Fronts are still showing 8+ mm. Not a lot of off road, split hours of highway and rural around the small roads. I'm not heavy on the peddles, engine/trans control mostly. What are others experiencing?
21 BL/BL , 36K , other than noisy back up brakes, no problems. The 4 cylinder powerplant seems to have turned out to be a better option. The love affair continues. Plans are to drive the pony till the hooves fall off.
