Welcome Georege, that’s a fine looking car. You’ll find this a friendly and helpful group.
All my grandparents came from Czechoslovakia about a century ago to the U. S. I’m glad to see another certified Czech here. I traded in my Sport so I don’t post much anymore, but still find the forum interesting.
Enjoy your new Badlands!
Thank you very much for the kind welcome and the info about Czech origin.
I was very pleased.
If you are interested in information from the Czech Republic, I am at your disposal.

Miluji modifikace.

Thank you very much for the nice message, I was also pleased with the information about the liberation of Pilsen. I have been interested in this historical topic for a long time and visit the places of worship of the US army. If there were any photos and information from that time available, I would be very grateful for the message.
I also wish you a lot of joy from Bronkem and send many greetings from the Czech Republic. George View attachment 57999 View attachment 58000 View attachment 58001
George, I do have many photos from that time period. Here are a couple from Krulov.

Greetings to the USA and thank you for the photo of Český Krumlov.
I can't see the other photos. I would like to ask you to send them by direct message. If you would be willing to send me some photos of Pilsen and the surrounding area, I would be very pleased. I don't know if I can include my e-mail address here, which would be more suitable for this communication. If so, I will send it right away.
If you have any wishes that I could also fulfill, I am here for you.
George

I will send some pictures by DM. I’ll have to see what I have for Pilsen. He did not always write a description on the back of them. I also have some pictures of so currency I’ll attach here.

I know this really belongs in the beer of day thread, but I don’t know if you have visited that post.

https://www.broncosportforum.com/forum/threads/beer-of-the-day-thread.12979/

This brewery belongs to the son of a close friend. It is located 25km south of Pilsen.

Wooooowww amazing. I really wish we poor mortals in South America could be graced with this Sasquach package. To give you an idea, we've only had ONE different wheel since this vehicle arrived in our country. If I'm not mistaken, it was in 2021 when it went on sale. After that, we have to settle for the only model that arrives here (Badlands). Okay, it's already something to have the most equipped model, but it would be interesting to have other official accessories. Now I'm curious, is this pack officially sold complete by Ford? What would the tech pack be?

Hello and thank you for the photo, especially the 10k from the time of the protectorate is interesting.
Yes, I know about the brewery, it is well-known in my area. I worked for Plzeňský prazdroj for many years and I am familiar with beer production. If you manage to get some photos about the liberation of Pilsen or West Bohemia, I will be very pleased. Can I also do something for you??
Have a nice day Jiří Fučík

It will take me a little time to locate more pictures. I have to read through my father’s letters where he sometimes describes the area in the pictures. If you are ever at the brewery, say hello to Chris the owner for me.

Hi everyone ! , new member from Northern Arizona. I am a member of the ranger5g forum but traded in my 2019 Ranger XLT last week for a 2022 BS, Big Bend trim.
My Ranger was a 2wd Supercrew with Continental street tires, but as long as the dirt roads were dry, I went places I probably shouldn't have but never got stuck. I had momentum and good ground clearance in my favor. Mud and snow I tried to avoid though.
I had close to 100k on the Ranger and didn't use the bed of the truck much, mainly to let my dog ride there after swimming till he dried out some.

The new Bronco Sport should be more off road capable than my truck, besides being AWD my Bronco came with the optional Falken Wildpeak AT tires (and Black Rhino wheels).
One thing my Big Bend lacks that the Ranger had was ground clearance.
I'll have to watch that with the Bronco Sport for sure.

I like how compact the vehicle is, but it doesn't feel cramped inside.
The Bronco Sport is about the same width as a Ranger, but it feels roomier inside, I guess because of the boxy roof ?
Mine is the 1.5L. Not as smooth and quiet as the 2.3L I had, but not wimpy feeling at all like I thought it would be. It helps that the BS is 900 some lbs. lighter than the 4 door pickup was.

The Bronco feels low to the ground after the Ranger, but I'd say the Bronco has more of a truck like feel when driving, although part of that could be the off road tires my BS came with.

I'm looking forward to reading and joining in on discussions, glad to have found the site.

Welcome aboard! Lots of us here from State 48, and throughout the Americas.

I agree the BS has a very truck-like feel, kind of surprising given its underpinnings. I think you’ll find it outperforms in many areas you hadn’t considered.

I went through the northern part of the state recently, including the South Rim and Flag, and will be headed to Moab with stops in Winslow, Page, and Prescott in the next couple weeks. Give us a honk and a wave!
