Gonna check it out. Honestly, not really that impressed with Google Maps on CarPlay.

This one is not free though, it’s not expensive, but not free. Have you tried Waze? I prefer that over Google Maps but for the most part, I use it just for keeping track of the speed traps.

Just downloaded it for free and tested in CarPlay. No in-app purchases that I can see.

This one. Sorry it takes so long to enter anything in these chat boxes now. I must have pick the wrong one. Hopefully they will fix this forum app for good at some point.

once I saw it was tom tom, I quite reading, they almost went broke 4 times for a reason.. I hope this one is better than their old stand alone gps they used to do. I'll stick to waze.

This looked promising. I was excited to check it out. Installed on both Android phones and iPhone.

However, on both Android and iOS one can't get past the first screen unless you agree to share your "life" with TomTom (and on Android you have to allow "location" 24/7 whether or not the app is in use. Can't even get to this screen on Android w/o fully enabling "location"). Yeah, no. Yeah, I get it. But c'mon..., at least let us get a taste of the app before fully committing. Sorry, but not on the "first date"!

Too many people just click their privacy away. I'm an IT Director for a big Berkshire sub and security is something a LOT of people truly do not understand.
