I payed $1,600 over MSRP. They gave me $10,000 for my car that I bought for $10,000 back in 2016. Lol

That's the market, and yes, it's crazy. Used vehicle prices are way up.

I bought a 2018 F-150 for $40,000 in December of 2018. The dealership offered me $39,000 for the truck with 12,000 miles on it in June 2021. Needless to say, I found a BS and traded!

The lifetime powertrain warranty is through Ford? Lifetime is 100k miles or drive it till it dies? So if you run it for 350k miles they will fix the motor?

PTU and RDU is also covered? Normal use or run the BS up a dirt road on the side of a mountain, then next weekend take it to Moab, then run the pants off it out in Randsburg and follow the power lines to Panamint Springs, Death Valley?
what did that cost from the dealer, any deductible, transferable to the next owner?

lifetime powertrain through Ford, No deductible and non-transferable. It is honestly making me second guess replacing it with the f-150 lightning or a Big Bronco.

I paid sticker. Which was 33400. That is before tax/title. The owner of the dealership planned to charge 5k above sticker if anyone but me bought the BS.

Basically he made me a good deal after the service dept lied about working on my
Mustang and basically causing the mustang wiring to get destroyed by a rat.

BL with BL. Paid $2000 over sticker MINUS $1250 rebates MINUS $1000 trade-in (2008 Mercury Mariner). Figured I could get maybe $4k for it but who knows and didn't want to deal with it.

Paid MSRP -$500 customer cash for a BB+BB no sunroof. No other dealer within 200 miles was selling at msrp. Mine was a dealer trade they got for me and it still had the $3500 ADM sticker on it when it arrived. Got $38k for my 2019 ranger so that saved me $2600 in sales tax. I definitely could have sold it for more but unless I got a decent amount over $40.6K it wouldn't have been worth the hassle. Way more convenient to trade it in and was only $2k less than I paid for it in April of 2020.

Paid $1500 under MSRP and 0% financing on my BL+BL when I ordered back in Nov '20. Sales Mgr "flipped" when he saw paperwork when delivered in Mar '21 and he wasn't getting $5K over MSRP.

I don't know what the MSRP was at the time, but I bought my Base Model for $26.5k in March. Which was just literally weeks before car prices went crazy.
