I was looking at the bottom/front of my OB when it was on the alignment rack and couldn't find anything to attach to for towing from the front. Any spot available would tear off the body components if given a proper tug.
From photos of the plastic bumper/façade removed, I saw the 2 holes in the...
Uhm.... Robby Woolworth is the owner of Ford Ranger Lifts, so which ones know their stuff?
Ford Ranger Lifts - Ranger, Ford Ranger, Lifts, Truck Accessories
55 M Married 4 Kids
Moved to BS from an F-150 Crew Cab 4x4. I don't miss it a bit, especially when parking or navigating tight places. I was tired of a big vehicle just in case several of us needed to go somewhere. I need a DD and drive alone 95% of the time.
Love the mileage and AWD on...
No noise increase. I don't even know they're there at highway speeds or below. Very well engineered imho. I can't comment on the mpg since I got a 2" lift near the same time, but I doubt any change.
2" Woolworth lift/level
Falken 235/60/R18 Wildpeak AT Trails
Thule HD crossbars
There's a little more noise from the front struts, but not enough to bother or concern me.
I like the Woolworth 2" lift. I've had it installed for about 3 weeks now. There's some additional noise from the struts when hitting big bumps, but Robbie said it was typical and should go away with time.
At 6'-0", I can slide right in vs the seat being a bit low as stock. It looks much better...
I just got the
Thule HD Crossbar System (Qty - 1)
$369.00
Part Number: VM1PZ7855100C-Installed
It was $448 after tax and $50 install. Yes, I'm that lazy.
Print your receipt and take it to the dealer if you are having it installed by them. My dealer didn't have a clue about the order I had placed until I called, and my name wasn't on the parts when they arrived at the dealership. They had no notification that the labor was already paid for...
I...
I adjusted the tires to 35psi on a 70 degree day. The ride is much better. They looked a little low at first, but the bottom bulge went away after a few dozen miles.
Temperatures were in the mid 40s this morning and the pressure showed 33. It quickly went up to 35 on the road. I'm happy with...
I just installed Falken Wildpeak AT Trail 235/60/18R tires. They look much better that the standard 225 Michelins that came on my OB. After I was satisfied with the ride, the Woolworth 2" lift/level was installed. The ride is nice, but a little rougher than stock as expected.
The lift caused a...
The longer I look at the steelie, the more I like the retro look of it. My initial reaction was to keep your current ones. I guess it comes down to what style you want.
I went with the Faulken Wildpeak AT Trail 235/60/18 on my OB. I can't get the 17" wheels I want due to backorders, so I have these to hold me over until I get the 2" lift installed and new wheels.
There is a very slight ride difference, but no additional noise. The ride difference may be...
I've had no issues with my OB and the 1.5L engine. The different trims are for different people and uses, so we're comparing apples to oranges.
If you off-road for pleasure, get the BL or FE, or better yet, the daddy Bronco. ($$$$)
I am on the road 97.2% of the time, so the OB fits me well and...
