Can't believe this thread has lasted so long and garnered so much attention. Easy resolution requing a pencil and two pieces of velcro. Problem solved. For a minor fee, I will happily provide installation instructions.?

I ordered one also early last week and it still hasn't showed at the dealer. I should have just shipped it to my house but I'm so used to picking up parts at the dealer I didn't realize the pencil holder was cheap to ship. The dealer told me the warehouse it's shipping from is experiencing delays.

I'm hoping there is an unboxing video and another (separate) video for installation of the pencil holder, pencil selection... #2 ? with or without eraser? Ticonderoga(i hope) or Faber-Castel? <gasp>, pencil sharpening tips and final installation of said pencil into the holder then road tests on various terrains to demonstrate holding capabilities (or lack thereof). Let's turn this into a real production!!
