Uhh forgive the way the question sounds, but why is your BL badge basic for lack of a better term? Meaning yours is just a skull and mine is a mountain range with a reflective part and the two combined make up the skull...

This is a pre-release test vehicle so the badge isn't a production version. The post itself is from 7/31/20 and it had just been officially announced two weeks prior.

Consider the new Maverick is built on the escape/sport platform, I'll assume it will be built at the Hermosillo plant...not shocked it appears it will be painted Area 51 as a color option if this image is accurate

Saw two A51 while driving home tonight: a Big Bend and a Badlands.

Both in the Toledo, OH, area: BB on 23N and BL on 280N.

Area 51 Badlands I saw at a dealer back in May. Special order that the customer didn't take. Had pretty much every option: BL package, 360+, steelies, gray roof, tow package, cargo management, splash guards, floor liners, and the block heater.

I was drooling over it but at nearly $40k it was a bit out of my price range lol. Still, it was pretty much how I'd spec a BS if cost didn't matter.

Obviously, it didn't sit for long.

Kinda. I really think it depends on the light and time of the day.

It honestly shifts colors. Bright light it has a blueish tone, overcast or early evening it seems more blue/grey. I bought touchup paint and in the bottle it looks really grey, I tested it and can't see where I brushed it.
I'd argue anything but powder blue. Area 51 seems about right. Alien skin?
