While I do love everything about the updates they have made (except the larger screen/ AC knob deletes) I do wonder if the price for a Badlands w/ SAS package will turn people away from the Badlands? I feel like at that point most people would just go for the full size or a different option all together?

I do love the updates they put on it though! Looks super tough and seems to be more modular than the previous years. I'm hoping this will help stimulate the secondary market for the sport a little more which I am in turn hoping will benefit us pre-refresh folks.
Yea its interesting. I got curious as I've said the price for the 25 Badlands with the SAS is mid size truck territory...and it is. I went to the builder...bc apparently I have the time. And you can build out an Ranger XLT FX4 with ACC, rear locker and the better engine for the same price.

As a Badlands owner it feels like a money grab to make the Sasquatch items a package on Badlands, which ideally should be the most fully equipped off-road ready trim level. How much greater function does the HOSS 3.0 and the Bilstein shocks add? Do the "high clearance fender flairs" fix the wheel well weld clearance issues present on previous models, or is it just cosmetic?

That said, all the other new inclusions on the Badlands trim level are welcome additions and things we shouldn't have had to pay extra for when purchasing the top trim level in the past.

that was not Ford’s objective…they wanted to enable the 1.5 to be as capable, so the SQ package fixes that…the Badlands already had a small market share, which is now likely to shrink further…

Plan on getting 2025 Bronco Sport
Conservatively, some media seem to indicate that Americans keep their cars on average for 8 years (with some pieces of media giving longer estimates than that... I've seen up to 12 on some of these, but I'm not sure how accurate that is). So I'd imagine people "upgrading" from one Bronco Sport to another are incredibly rare breeds. I've seen people talk about upgrading to a vehicle a few years newer on car enthusiast boards like these, but overall it does not seem to be the norm whatsoever.

Personally, I had my last car for 8-9 years and was hoping to make it to 10, but I didn't. I plan to keep my BS for a lengthy period of time as well.

I don't really understand how people can financially get new vehicles that often like that.
I totally agree with you regarding how some can get n

I am wondering if those new flares would fit on my 2021 badlands First Edition.?

I haven't digested all the info yet on the new 2025. A few of my thoughts.

A.C.C. standard, good move.

Disappointed in no ground clearance added.

They dropped my favorite color- Cactus Gray.

Wish they would have kept the brown/black interior for the BL. Not crazy about the gray.

Sasquatch package worth $3K, not sure yet. Ditch the yellow patch on the seat.

Storage tray on the dash, not practical for me, even with the USB ports.

Aux. lighting switches replacing the sunglass holder, okay if you are adding lighting but I prefer the holder.

Why not add a USB port in the overhead console area, for Dashcam's, etc.

Sync 4 good, HVAC controls on the screen, no.

Larger drivers screen good.

Passenger grab handle, nice.

Black wheels only on the BL, wish I had a choice besides this. I'm old school I guess.

360 degree camera, great.

MPG rating, wouldn't be surprised if it decreases.

Should be some good deals on 2024's on the lot depending on inventory Labor Day weekend.

Tried to order mine this morning (Badlands with Sasquatch Package) and the order system will not take the order. Hopefully the system will take an order soon.

This is a move to get a better safety rating. Whatever the motivation, I'm with you: good move.

I know, right? The "Sasquatch" moniker should equate to improved off-road capability. Given that ground clearance is the Bronco Sport's biggest weakness in that area, Ford should've done something about it. My fear is that the reason it didn't centers around driveline concerns, mainly the CV joint operating angles. My hope is the reason has to do with fuel economy.

Sasquatch package worth $3K, not sure yet.
Especially given there was nothing to address the biggest issue.

Storage tray on the dash, not practical for me, even with the USB ports.
How long will your expensive electronics last lying in direct sunlight?

Passenger grab handle, nice.
Even if you can't get really jiggy off road with the car, the grab handle is a great design element.

360 degree camera, great.
Also (I believe) related to safety rating.

All-in-all, the 2025 MY is an evolution for the Bronco Sport, not a revolution.
