I’ve been looking over the order guide for the 2025 Bronco Sport and a couple things stood out:
  • A trailer hitch is standard on the Badlands. No Sasquatch package needed.
  • The Badlands has power fold side mirrors. Is that new?
  • It appears rain sensing wipers are standard on the Outer Banks, but not on the Badlands.
  • No ambient interior lighting on any trim.

An order guide or the Ford Bronco Sport website?

Order guide that shows all the changes, along with ordering codes. It was posted by Granger Ford in another section of this site where they are offering 4% below invoice on 2025 Bronco Sports.

Plan on getting 2025 Bronco Sport
Moonroof is available. It’s a $920 stand alone option found in the Interior section of the build your own page. For some strange reason it started to display a series of letters instead of saying Power Moonroof when I last visited the page.
Yep, that's what I was seeing too were the letters but later on it did say moonroof!

My major point is that FMC dropped the ball. Hybrid technology has been around for over twenty years. And yet, FMC rolled out the Bronco and Bronco Sport without any hybrid options. Hello, anybody home? Four years later, they still haven't developed a hybrid option for the Broncos. That is horrible leadership and management on the part of FMC. Sure, FMC is trying to correct their all-in EV mistake. That is on FMC. But without hybrid options across all Ford vehicles within the next year, FMC will lose customers to other manufacturers.

This update for the Bronco Sport is interesting; but since I just bought my 2023 Bronco Sport Badlands at the beginning of the year, I am not in the market for a new car. If I was looking, the new Toyota 4 Runner Hybrid would be high on my list. I wonder how many Bronco Sport's owner here are going to buy the new Bronco Sport.

Conservatively, some media seem to indicate that Americans keep their cars on average for 8 years (with some pieces of media giving longer estimates than that... I've seen up to 12 on some of these, but I'm not sure how accurate that is). So I'd imagine people "upgrading" from one Bronco Sport to another are incredibly rare breeds. I've seen people talk about upgrading to a vehicle a few years newer on car enthusiast boards like these, but overall it does not seem to be the norm whatsoever.

Personally, I had my last car for 8-9 years and was hoping to make it to 10, but I didn't. I plan to keep my BS for a lengthy period of time as well.

I don't really understand how people can financially get new vehicles that often like that.

I searched this site for info on the order guide and didn't find a copy.

Googled it also and zero info. Looking for a PDF copy to download.

Per the 2025 Bronco Sport specs page the under seat storage is still there on the Badlands.

The cubby has been moved to the top of the dash and is now powered by 2 USB ports.

I don't see that new tray as an equivalent substitute for the middle dash cubby. I do have an add-on tray there on my BS BL. I use the cubby for temporary storage of paperwork needed to provide to a doctor or clinic, and envelopes that I'm taking to the Post Office or to drop off at a streetside mailbox. But that's OK. I do like that Ford added the USB ports there...for dashcam, radar detector or whatever.
But I do appreciate your reminder. Thanks!

The power folding mirrors appears to be associated with the 360 camera.

While I do love everything about the updates they have made (except the larger screen/ AC knob deletes) I do wonder if the price for a Badlands w/ SAS package will turn people away from the Badlands? I feel like at that point most people would just go for the full size or a different option all together?

I do love the updates they put on it though! Looks super tough and seems to be more modular than the previous years. I'm hoping this will help stimulate the secondary market for the sport a little more which I am in turn hoping will benefit us pre-refresh folks.
