If you are serious about tire stem caps, you should get some that meet MILSPEC MS-20813-1. Those are all brass and have a seal that is good for 0-5000 psi and -65° F to 160° F temperature range. They only come in yellow, though and cost under $2 each.

Opposite end of the serious spectrum must be these all plastic caps meeting no specs at $3+ each

I bought a box of 100 super extremely boring Dill 630 caps for my car. Now the tire boys can throw away as many of my "special" caps as they like. I have dozens to replace them.

I’ll stick with these. I found them on Amazon. Available in Grey, Black, Orange and Red.

I have found that each time I buy a set of snazzy valve stem caps, they disappear within a month.

I guess some folks seem to think they look better on their cars, or kids like them on their bikes.

Back to boring black stem covers for me.

I got some fancy red ones with the Bronco logo on the front just so I can match the red accent theme I have going. 100% not worth the money but would I do it again? ? Probably

What are MILSPEC valve caps? This is what I get when I order valve caps through the Army Supply System. 100 of them for $3.03, but they do have a rubber o-ring inside. The Army calls for these on the HUMVEE, 2 1/2 ton, 5ton and 10ton HEMTT trucks.

IF the military supplies it — it has a “milspec” and a number somewhere. There’s a milspec on the “skivvy” shorts they issue ?
