Last few months my wife says our sport "making noise" and "strange noises" and "car makes noise" every couple weeks makes a comment. I usually don't drive it since I full time work at home. So after she complains I drive it and its silent. Then weeks go by she complains again I take for drive again silent zero noise quiet as a mouse. Then I go to store with wife today its 30 degrees out we in store about an hour. Come out back out of parking spot and slight momentary brake moan not very loud wife says see hear that noise? I like yeah common for sports rear caliper pins TSB harmless yadda yadda yadda. Wife says oh I thought something serious I like no its a harmless noise its common etc etc etc. 17k miles garage kept. I am not doing anything about it unless it starts sounding like a whale and gets more frequent.

As said in in previous posts and other threads about the same problem, there is a TSB for the noise along with a repair kit, the issue is the dealers won't just do the repair because you say its happening, the dealer has to diagnose the issue which means you'll have to leave your vehicle because they are not in the business of giving away free parts
My Badlands has the moan, in my case its not nearly as bad as some people have described with their own situation and I can live with it for now.

pretty sure nothing works, have not tried the last TSB, but all prior ones have failed for us, along with switching to ceramic pads. New pads of any type have "cured" it for about a month, but once they get a little wear on them the noise returns.

TSB 24-2348 worked for me and I had it done about 2 months ago. No charge either.

We have a 2022 BS and have had the brake moaning issue for over a year now. My wife took it to the dealer in July and they said Ford is aware of it but they didn't have a fix at that time. Told her it would most likely be a recall thing since several BS and Escapes were having the same issue. It wasn't a pressing issue since the dealer stated it wasn't a safety issue. It's gotten so loud and happens regularly now, so I took it in last month myself to see if I could get anywhere with the fix. Turns out Ford came out with a TSB (fix) in December....but get this...my bumper to bumper warranty had just expired 2 weeks before I brought it in the second time, so they wont cover it! Anyone else think this is how Ford should handle this? I only have 26K miles on it and it's honestly very embarrassing to be driving a fairly new vehicle that sounds like a clunker. You'd think Ford would fix the issue they acknowledged while it was under warranty. Looks like I'll be filing a complaint with NHTSA and if there are enough complaints I'm told it will become a recall item. If you're experiencing the same issue the NHTSA can be reached at 1-888-327-4236

Good luck but I doubt they're going to do diddly squat about it. It's NOT right but that's Ford for you. The latest fix actually came out in October when I had mine fixed. It's been 4 months now and not a beep. I thank this forum for the heads up.

Have you taken this beyond your dealership?
I talked to the Ford customer relations department and they said they "may" be able give "some" assistance...which I said was unacceptable. The issue was presented to them while under warranty and they didn't address it then. It needs to be covered completely. Ford will be losing a loyal customer if they don't take care of this with no cost to me. The time I have to spend on this is beyond frustrating.
