I purchased the Premium Plus (1000+) extended warranty after the factory warranty expired. I only have 13,500 miles on the vehicle and I want to keep it a while longer. My claim was denied as a covered repair, even though the TSB 24-2348 stated the repairs for this (Brake Caliper Springs, etc.) and stated that Extended Service Plan (ESP) covered this repair. I'm livid! multiple calls with them was to no avail! One agent suggested I call the manufacturer in Mexico to ask them what is missing from my car! Anyone with the same bad experience and how did you get the repair covered? I need to set precedent. Thanks

I’m not surprised it was rejected under the Ford Extended Warranty but perhaps others in your same situation did have it covered under the Ford ESP and will let you know

for me was still under the factory warranty so TSB 24-2348 was covered for no cost

Btw … quite a few owners state they tried earlier TSB fixes for the rear brake moan issues which didn’t work for them in the long run so info and links to a few other solutions they used are in Post #30: https://www.broncosportforum.com/forum/threads/24-2348-moan-noise-in-the-rear-brakes.12472/post-211777

From what I remember reading this isn't a "safety" issue as it doesn't affect the safe operation of the brakes. This is more of an annoyance to owners. We have a 21 Outer Banks that we have been patiently awaiting the "fix" and are close to going to trusted mechanic to address. We are on speed dial with our dealership (a very good one) for that brake fix and the RDU shudder (that's another topic).

True enough Curt, not a "Safety" issue and after the TSB and the recall fix, I haven't had any issues with the rear brake moan recurring and I am in a cold climate winter and high humidity summer region.

We haven't even got the "fix". Luckily we have a '25 Explorer to help mitigate putting mileage on the Bronco. Might need to contact the dealer again.

Wow, my dealer reached out as soon as the parts were in, about 2 weeks after the TSB was published!

Correct, it is not a safety issue. We had the first TSB done & it did not fix the noise. It does not bother us & we will address it when we need to replace the rear brake pads.

So, the extended warranty coverage is not contingent on safety issues. If the power window fails, it is covered, but not a safety issue. And who knows if there is REALLY an underlying safety issue with brakes! Hopefully, this is NOT a safety issue, undiscovered by Ford!

Guys! it has nothing to do with whether or not the is a safety issue. Search TSB (Technical Safety Bulletin) #24-2348! Stop making excuses for Ford!!!

Let's get a show of hands from all those who experience their vehicles (Ford Broncos) which moan, squeak or make other noises when the vehicle is in reverse!

I got the free back up alarm with my Badlands, and children run from the back of the car everytime I back up. Sometimes it is a blessing to be deaf.
