On windshield number 5 now, all done through SpeedyGlass, all OEM spec'd glass and re-calibrations done at the time of install without any issues. Fortunately, all covered under enhanced glass coverage, just paid token deductible.
Check the grommets under air cleaner box, there are 3 of them, b if one is removed you develop a rattle like that, just had mine fixed after an oil change which accidentally dropped one off when changing the filter.
I have to tip my hat, this confirms everything I have been following for years! Nokian Outpost ATs for spring, summer and fall, then Nokian Hakkapeliitta 10 studded for winter in my area.... you can climb wall with those!! LOL
Not a Bass boat, but I regularly tow a small camper trailer around 500kg (1100lbs) and have not seen or experienced any issue so far other than a slight decrease in fuel economy, which I expected.
Doesn't sound like an honest dealer or service rep.
They should be able to detail all work and areas that accessed for service. Not only that, they should be checking; as a quality control process, all work and that all vehicle systems are working properly prior to releasing the vehicle back...
Well that was mighty nice of them! How much mileage did they put on?
I note mileage in and out for service (the dealer should also do this and note it on the work order - Ford's policy) and I have never had them put on more than 10-15km (6-10m)in testing.
They have never filled my tank....LOL :)
Should a little on the low ball side to me. With the way the market is currently, dealers are hot for quality used vehicles and you seeing resale value go up significantly. with the mileage on your vehicle, I would expect mid 20's or higher.
Nice install! I did something similar with my Icom ID-880H for head location. My xcvr is in under the rear deck by the spare tire.
Good choice on running the power direct to the battery. I have done the same and used a 50amp disconnect breaker in the engine compartment to run heavier cables to...
Hmmmm, I'm torn on this....Good info Steve, and appreciate the topic. As you may have seen previously, I am dead against anything that distracts a driver's attention from actually driving and the deletion of tactile controls for vehicle operation, which in my opinion is a huge safety issue. As...
Got me there, I do like my tunes while I drive.
We're lucky up here to see a basic EV for anything under $40k these days, and yes the range is definately a draw back. Nothing in the truck market for near that cheap here right now.
Too many electric options = Less range due to use and added weight. And besides, vehicles these days have swung way too far into the tech and infotainment area leading to distraction and more service complications. I don't even use half of the stuff my BB has.
I'm good with the basics...
Hi Travis,
Haven't done one myself (yet), but I have seen a lot of comments stating the front grille assembly needs to come off for access, sorry I can't help further.
There is no "bulb" assembly that is user replaceable, the headlamp assembly must be replaced as an entire component according to the parts listings.
These LEDs have a very long lifespan rating and it's rare to have one fail so soon, I would check your fuses first prior to heading to a...
Best trip so far, as posted previously, these are a couple of pics we shot while testing a camper-trailer which we have since purchased (and eagerly awaiting it's completion). Trip north on BC's Sunshine Coast to Sechelt and Porpoise Bay provincial park, can't wait to head back with our new...
