Luckily, it appears that is a twist off cap!

So many replies to this post went through my head, but I think every one of them would get me banned like Osco.

And I am still waiting for @Mark S. to give us the scientific answer of how to resolve this important dilemma!

Maybe we need a poll to see how many people really use this? I forget it's there and use the one on my keychain. Plus I don't have to get up and open the rear gate only to hear the vehicle make noises for the next 15 minutes!

I don't know what science has to say, but logic dictates there are pros and cons to the venerable stubby. Yes, they're shorter than their non-stubby brethren, but they often make up the difference in girth. If you have particularly small hands you may need both to get a good grip on a girthy stubby, but some might consider that a bonus. It stands to reason there would be greater difficulty in getting a stubby in your mouth, but some claim greater satisfaction--and perhaps even a sense of accomplishment--if successful.

Whether you prefer greater length or girth (or both) is, of course, a personal preference.
