haha. True. I'm trying to think if I should also order a 1/2" too to see what they will look like. Generally, should the tire be inside the flare or outside it? It almost seems like the rear wheels are inset more than the fronts too. Is that possible?

There are some people that like the look of tires outside the flares. It does look pretty aggressive. You have to live with road debris being throw up, if you do that.

The rears could be a little more inside, but what is probably happening is the rear fender is sticking out more than the front. I would not recommend intentionally changing the track widths between the front and rear. That could be kind of weird on the trail even if it is only 1/2” or so.

BTW, if you want to ask me a question you should be reply to the message I posted, or you can type an “@“ symbol and start typing Meanderthal into your message. Either one of those will let me know that you replied or mentioned me. You never know when I might get back to a thread like this and your message could be very deep on a busy thread.

@Meanderthal Thanks for your comments and reminder about the forum! I thought you live on this board. Haha

I wish I could find just a 1/2" spacer. As of yet, I can't find a 5-108 pattern 1/2" spacer. I just need a little bit more.
You have a good point regarding road debris. I don't yet have any wheel guards or flaps or anything; maybe I need to do that...at least for the rears.

I think that for a spacer any thinner than 20mm (possibly 15mm) the only thing I have seen is essentially just a glorified washer. Basically they just run out of space to have the extra set of lug nuts in there that hold on the spacer so then they just rely on the studs being long enough. Then you have to worry about catching enough threads with the lug nuts. There are some ways to cheat that issue or worst case is replacing the lug studs in the hub with longer ones.

If you want excess debris sprayed and flung up on the the sides of your BS, then spacing the wheels or having different wheel offsets that allow the tires to stick out past the wheel wells or flairs will do that.

I get your point. What if my aim was to have them line up exactly flush with the flares and put on small rear flaps?

If you really use it, it's going to hopefully get dirty anyway, go for the look you want.

Ordered my setup on tirerack In 2021 so there weren't many options out but I really like these Alpha wheels. They’re also sold on rough country. Next tire change probably won’t do pirelli’s, I’ll see which tires bs owners like the most.

garageline carries a 15 mm hub centric bolt on spacer. I used them on my st. you may need to trim or put shorter studs in depending on your wheels

I went from 225's to 245's. The 225's in the ECU were set at 2202. For the 245's I set the ECU to 2232.

Super bummed. Discount Tire was installing the spacers and they started with the fronts and they rubbed way too much. I wouldn't be able to drive down the road like that. If I can find someone who can trim away at the wheel well, then I'll put them back on. One section in the driver front feels like a hard plastic piece right behind the black trim. I'm running 245/65R17.

This is before the spacers, so already starting out close.

You might be able to fudge the liner a bit to get it to clear more. Not sure how the spacers caused this rub at the front? On the little tabs of the liner, I know that I just created a new hole on one of them to get the liner to hug the wheel well closer. The other I just moved it as far as I could in the existing hole to get more clearance.

How do you like the RTR lift? Were you able to get it aligned with without camber bolts?

Will do tomorrow. I have Toyo Open Country III on my F150 and I was going to get those but a friend has the Mickeys on their Wrangler and swears by them so I figured I would give them a try.
I have them on my F250 Tremor and LOVE them

You were 100% correct in what you said about my tire deal , my Goodyear workhorse A. Fit as you said they would , at 30 inch with no spacer and no lift and keeping with the 235 and 70 side wall with a stock rim , they fit and ride perfect. With a 1/2 inch space front and back of the front wheel , definitely fills the wheel well . Not going to go with any rock crawling. The size of the wheel well is constant. Thanks for your expertise. Take a look see .@Meanderthal

Oh by the way what do you think of the wrangler on a bronco deal ?
