Shoutout to the guys at The Custom Shop AZ (@ Sanderson Ford in Glendale, AZ) for knocking out our 1.3” Billet Lift Kit from RTR Vehicles, 17x8 RR5-V Matte Black Wheels from Relations Race Wheels and mounting and balancing the 245/70 R17 BFG All-Terrains!

My wife and I love her Bronco Sport Badlands. Stoked on the way it turned out and can’t wait to hit the trails with it being just that much more capable.

How did you fit those 70 ,s in that wheel space . ? Even with a lift it would not change the tight space between the front wheels, did you trim the back of the front wheel wall ? Looks very good .thanks for your input

Looks great, I was just researching the RTR lift last night.

Enjoy the ride!

If you go from 235's to 245's does the speedometer need to be re-calibrated? It might show that you're going slower than you actually are.
You can use the comparison tool at tiresize.com to determine differences between different tire sizes. The pic below is a screenshot of compo between 235/65R17 and 245/65R17.

Thanks! Good to know. So, not a lot of change, but it is.
Is there any way to re-calibrate it?

Love those Mickey's! It looks like those 245's fit really well. Do you have a lift? Those are going on mine too in a few weeks. A few other accessories first.

No lift
thnks for the kind words. I no longer have that one as I traded it in for the one I had built. Swapped the rims/tires over to the new Badlands when it came in

So, a question on my new wheels, tires and the offset to order. I will be getting an HRG 1.5" lift and Bushwacker flares. How much of an offset do I order for my Badlands? I'm getting Method wheels. I have heard that 38 is the original offset and to order 30 offset wheels. The goal is to have the tires line up exactly with the flares and not stick out or in. Is 30 the correct number to buy?

I think I captured what you are looking for here.

Excellent. Thanks So if my stock offset is 38 on my 235/70R17's, then going to a 30mm with the Method wheels (instead of using a spacer), that should do the trick with the 245/70R17's and the flares.

Nope, with flares you basically would need a "zero" offset wheel to get the tire out to the edge of the flares. My wheels are a 30 offset (so 8mm less than stock) and I have a 1" spacer (another 25mm) and that puts them basically flush with the outside of the flares.
