Good morning, All!
Well, I went ahead and ordered a new, full size Bronco Big Bend! I always wanted the bigger Bronco, but at that time, they were way more expensive and the wait time was months into a year or more. So, I'm planning on selling the Sport Badlands with good majority of the kit...
Good morning Harold C,
That's very kind of you, but unnecessary, Brother. Just keep us posted if you end up building something. Also, if you end up wanting to make the rear cargo shelf, let me know and I'll take a couple more photos and share a few things I've learned.

Here are some images and explanation Harold C, that might give you a better idea of the setup.
With the passenger seat folded down (the storage container beneath the seat was removed), the seat only sits about an inch above the back deck. I also turned the headrest backwards, which makes is a...
Hi Harold C., thanks for the reply. I hadn't heard that Goose Gear was coming out with something for the Bronco Sport, but to your point, it'll be extra wait, cost some money and ultimately, be unnecessary. I'll take some detailed pictures of everything I did on the inside and will post ASAP...
I'm liking it a lot. I think the material is thinner than most of the other 270 awnings out there, but I don't mind. And at 28lbs., I can easily remove the awning by myself and hang it on a couple of hooks I mounted in the garage.
Forgot the mention the awning....I haven't used it in the wild yet. But, it has legs and tie downs for higher wind conditions like other awning have. However, this one is only 28lbs, which is crazy for a 270 awning, and weight is a big thing for me. It has aluminum case with carbon fiber poles...
I have the Shawnee Hills drawer system on the left side (which I didn't have inserted when I took these last photos) that contains all of my cooking stuff - Jetboil Genesis stove, cookware, plates, 1lb. refillable propane cylinders, utensils, coffee, etc. I also have the iKamper Disco and...
After rethinking my setup, here's the updated rig:
- Rhino Rack Pioneer platform (60"x49")
- Roam Adventure 95L Rugged case & mount
- Unplug Duffle
- Roofnest Litewing 270 Awning
- New rear folding cargo shelf out of 1/2" birch (6lbs lighter than 3/4")
- New slide out table out of 1/2" birch...
As mentioned, any GPS app will give you a fairly accurate MPH while adjusting the tire circumference in BodyCM (as tburner mentioned). I found the manufacturer circumference (Falken Wildpeak), for this usage, to be way off, so I wouldn't rely on that, at all.
After tons of testing and tweaks...
Awesome! I also had a blast and learned a helluva lot about the Sport (which I love even more now). I complete agree with you: "more Sport owners should do this".
DJI Mini 3 Pro. Best features for the money. And like Nam3 said, get the Fly More Kit and some ND filters. Just got back from Utah and couldn't be happier with it.
Still cheaper than the $175.00 for the overpriced Thunderbox. But I agree, don't like burying plastic nor would I. I cary any trash like this externally, not inside the vehicle.
This might be the one you're referring to with the 'wearable tent', but it's great. Same design and the Thunderbox, but lighter.
Here's the full kit: InstaPrivy
Just the toilet: InstaPrivy Chair
Just got back from the Bronco Off-Roadeo in Moab, with an overnight stop in the Valley of the Gods. I plan on going back and doing more complicated trails when time permits. However, after spending the day driving a stock Badlands with stock 225/65/17 tires through some incredibly deep mud, and...
