I'd like to know if grinding down the strut would be a problem if I ever removed the lift
Its less than a 1/4" of an inch off an edge that is removed and it doesn't appear to effect form, fit or function of the strut - My thoughts with 1000 miles on my HRG Engineering lift kit

I agree, it sounds like HRG is the best. After I finish with my current stack o'mods that are in boxes in the garage, I'll lift it and get some tires.

No you only grind down less than a 1/4 inch. It’s not that hard. I installed my kit myself (hrg) and not mechanical inclined at all. Rides great. I had 4wp install a readylift which was complete garbage.
How did you get the front knuckle bolts off? I bought the kit but got stalled at that point because I couldn't get them off. I have a battery-powered impact and that didn't do it, so I tried using a 15" breaker bar, and I still couldn't get them off. Will either have to get a bigger breaker bar or return the kit altogether.

Do you have a propane torch?
Are they lock nuts?

I had a 24” breaker bar and a piece of pipe to help. Make sure you are turning the nut,and not bolt side the bolt had spline’s and won’t turn.

A battery powered impact won’t work, you can rent a plug in one from most rental shops that will spin them right off

Thanks. What kind of jack did you use? I already had a 6 ton bottle jack and an off-road jack base to provide more height so that it could raise the BS, but it seemed like it was almost at its upper limit. Was wondering once the strut got extended by the 1.5" spacer (effectively extending its length toward the ground) if that would make it harder to re-mount the tires if the jack couldn't provide more height to raise the BS higher? Hope that makes sense. Anyone can chime in.

I also bought a cheaper floor jack to use instead of the bottle jack, but it actually had a lower height limit and I couldn't even get the BS raised high enough to remove the tires. I looked up better floor jacks that could possibly raise it high enough to remove the tires, but they were expensive ($150+).

You really shouldn't leave the vehicle on the jack. You need to jack it up and set it on jackstands. Any kind of work like this where it will be in the air for more than a tire change should have it sitting on jackstands.

Higher lift jacks are somewhat expensive but it is also an investment. If you are diving into a lift kit, you are probably going to do more things in the future that require a jack. Think of the money you are saving by doing work yourself and then invest in the tools you need. You will be using those tools for years to come.

I used a bottle jack and a 6by6 beam (cut off). Jacked up each side and put jack stands. Then took off tires. You will needed a impact for lug nuts if you do it this way if not some one to hold brakes so tire don’t turn to break loose.

Yeah I was able to get the tires off on both sides and was able to take off the sway bar links, but couldn't get the knuckle bolt nuts off. I watched all the install videos that said not to try and take the bolts off since they're splined, so I only attempted to remove the nuts and still couldn't with the 15" breaker bar. Probably need a bigger bar and a rental impact like you said.

Wow, If a 15" bar isn't working be careful.

Any idea if this kit isolates the noise issues (road vibration) that occur in other kits?
I´ve installed that on my Wildtrak (Badlands) with no issues. The local shop that usually installs Rough Country´s was impressed by the quality.
I´m using Falken Wildpeak 245/65 r17. It doesn't rub cruising on a gravel road. I have to test it on a more challenging road flexing the suspension.
