I don't think the links are listed for sale separately on their website, but I would contact them to see if you can get them. I believe I saw somewhere else on the forum that someone with either an RC or RL lift kit has done that already.
IIRC is just an acronym for "if I remember correctly".
The HRG lift kit uses 1.5" front spacers, so the sway bar links from that kit should work with RC lift kits since that kit also uses 1.5" front spacers. If you replace the factory sway bar links with HRG sway bar links, you will need to...
IIRC just means "if I remember correctly". HRG Off Road is an actual company that makes lift kits. See the link to their Bronco Sport lift kit below. With their kit, they made longer sway bar links to account for the additional 1.5" provided by the spacer that sits on top of the strut. In your...
That looks like the sway bar link drop bracket. Could be from Rough Country or Ready Lift. From what I've read on this forum, both kits have had quality issues and were not well designed. The good thing is that IIRC, HRG Engineering sells just the sway bar links from their kit so you don't have...
Ah, good point. I was actually considering moving my child's car seat to the middle position because I'm running into the same problem with front passenger leg room. But I definitely don't want to lose the ability to lay down the wider of the two seat backs. Bummer.
Yeah I was able to get the tires off on both sides and was able to take off the sway bar links, but couldn't get the knuckle bolt nuts off. I watched all the install videos that said not to try and take the bolts off since they're splined, so I only attempted to remove the nuts and still...
Thanks. What kind of jack did you use? I already had a 6 ton bottle jack and an off-road jack base to provide more height so that it could raise the BS, but it seemed like it was almost at its upper limit. Was wondering once the strut got extended by the 1.5" spacer (effectively extending its...
How did you get the front knuckle bolts off? I bought the kit but got stalled at that point because I couldn't get them off. I have a battery-powered impact and that didn't do it, so I tried using a 15" breaker bar, and I still couldn't get them off. Will either have to get a bigger breaker bar...
Has anyone installed the 4 Wheel Parts lift kit by hand (not installed at a shop)? It's only a 1 inch level lift compared to 1.5 inch like most of them, but it seems much simpler. And it may not require grinding of the strut flange.
Interesting that they decided to powder coat it black. Looks good though! Was that a personal request or is that an option that they'll have available moving forward?
The KO2s will greatly increase the Sport's off-road capability, just like they would with any 4WD vehicle on street/all-season tires. Traction is a big factor off-road, and with capable tires, that will no longer be an issue for the BS. The 4WD system is also still very good on non-BL trims...
I am on stock suspension but am about to install the HRG 1.5" lift kit (not out of necessity, but because I want more ground clearance). It's just a spacer lift, so it doesn't replace the stock suspension components other than the sway bar end links.
I have had these tires installed for over a...
This thing is bad to the bone. IMO, Ford is outdoing Jeep in every way possible. Jeep's been resting on their laurels putting out very blah, subpar products for a long time now since they really haven't had much competition. Ford is late to the party, so better late than never, but they have...
I actually spoke with the folks at Auto Spring and I confirmed that the 2" spring lift is for the front only, which I thought was weird. It will only lift the front, and since the rear is usually only around 0.25 inches higher than the front, the "level lift" will lift the front higher than the...
Welcome to the club! Also living in Alabama, so good to see some others.
I upgraded the factory tires to 245/65R17 all-terrains and recently bought an HRG 1.5" lift kit that's on the way. Those are preferential upgrades and not necessities. However, the organizer tray for the middle console...
