Tightening it won’t help the clanking comes from not having a cut out for the strut hat, I learned the hard way by having a readylift which supposedly fixed, as what I was told directly from readylift.

Yes I can confirm this I had a ready lift installed which clanked , replaced it with hrg and no clanking. Hrg has the cut out for the top of the strut(hat). That is where the clanking comes from,it compresses the top to the spacers.

Looks like it may cause you to lose some clearance on the trail, by sitting lower.

Since your a prime member I would order another since you can always return it and maybe get the correct kit

Yes that is correct, I had the same problem with readylift. Here is a picture of how they should look the green ones have cut out( hrg) the black ones ready lift and has no cut out for strut hat.

I used a bottle jack and a 6by6 beam (cut off). Jacked up each side and put jack stands. Then took off tires. You will needed a impact for lug nuts if you do it this way if not some one to hold brakes so tire don’t turn to break loose.

Where did you relocate your tire?

A battery powered impact won’t work, you can rent a plug in one from most rental shops that will spin them right off

I had a 24” breaker bar and a piece of pipe to help. Make sure you are turning the nut,and not bolt side the bolt had spline’s and won’t turn.

I did get new rims. Ordered for custom offsets on line 768.00 delivered. They are 18 by 8 wide with + 32 offset( not much difference from factory +37)

They all install the same in front. The strut comes out and spacer is bolted on top. The hrg lift comes with new sway bar links, as other lifts use a bracket to drop them. Hrg also use a spacer for the brake line( so there is no tension on it). The rear is a little different on the hrg also the...
