That winch system for the Renegade makes me super jealous. I'm familiar with the business-end of a ratcheting come-along; but damn that's a lot of slow work just to recover a vehicle. Not to mention it really sucks if the weather is bad. Until we get a winch, I'm carrying a come-along, bottle jack, jack base, traction boards, and some synthetic line.

The folks at Vivid racing made a legit winch setup for a Bronco Sport, and you can see it here:

Unfortunately, they said it was so damn expensive to fabricate and install that they didn't even bother designing one for retail.

FWIW, most of the Wrangler's aftermarket support does *not* come from Jeep. I'm hoping that as more Sports hit the streets, and as more folks become aware of their capabilities; we may see some more aftermarket gear designed especially for our lil ute.

I think it'd be to our advantage to separate much of the aftermarket options from Ford. I certainly think they owe us a factory lift kit and bash plates, though.

I agree. Just tired of waiting. So Just trying to give a nudge. But it seems like Ford needs to help with some of the logistical issues that exist.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all in on wanting Ford to offer more goodies for this vehicle.

I agree.

Ford does offer the Black Diamond Off-Road Package on their 2023 Outer Banks, which includes an Underbody Protection, but I haven't seen any pictures of it. If it is made up of true Steel Bash Plates, then it would be nice to offer it as a Kit for the other models, especially the Badlands.

After the really cool start-up graphics, both the info system and the dash are woefully lacking. A little more pizzaz, please. Perhaps some additional virtual gauges in the dash (on the Fusion the dash gauges changes when you put it into Sport mode, which is pretty cool). An altimeter would be nice. A little more customization. Plus, sync the artist/song between the radio and the dash. It's crazy that there is often a lag. And all of this can be done with a download.

Those mods your showing aren't ever made by Jeep..... why should Ford make them. They are not in charge of aftermarket support. Jeeps have been around for 50 years....what do you expect?

It would be nice to have aftermarket support like this, but I don't think enough Bronco Sport owners ever plan to go places where products like this would be required. Folks who want to hit the wild and wooly off-road trails are buying full-sized Broncos.

I disagree Mark. Even on a simple forest road you never know what your going to run into. And Martin your right. However in a year or two Who knows what I will want. I am just trying to get @Ford Motor Company to maybe help with some motivation and interest. Ford Motor just came out with some awesome wheels for the 6G. What was stopping Ford from also trying something with the Bronco Sport.

I'm not saying you or I don't want to take our cars on challenging off-road trips, I just don't think the majority of BS owners do. There is also the issue of undercutting full-size Bronco sales.

I agree that's not much of an concern right now given the extreme demand for these vehicles, but I have to believe Ford did at least SOME market research before deciding to sell two vehicles with the Bronco moniker. It stands to reason these two vehicles are aimed at very different buyers, and Ford most likely wants to keep it that way.

I thought I read here that the BS was created/sold to help Ford meet the fleet gas mileage requirements, to avoid paying a sum of money per vehicle that does not meet these requirements.

For Dodge, every hemi equipped vehicle sold costs them a thousand bucks penalty.
