I replaced all the non LED bulbs in my rig in the first week after (you guessed it) the LR brake light went out. My interior indicators do flash a little faster, no biggie as far as I am concerned. A few folks tie in resistors to the circuits to slow them down, but frankly, that defeats one of the major benefits (lower voltage draw) as far as I am concerned. My F150 update? it is "in production", cannot wait for it to be delivered!!

My right turn signal started blinking fast inside my car today! All of my flashers were working... Can anyone verify the correct bulb to replace the brake light? Is "3157ST Sylvania" the correct bulb? I am going to try to fix this myself. My local dealer has gotten very snarky lately...

Yes 3157. I posted a link to some on amazon above. Takes minutes to change yourself. You just need a 10mm socket.

Might as well change both while you’re in there. Sylvania sells two at a time cause the new one might be slightly brighter than the original ones your replacing.

I installed the Sylvania 3157 Zevo LEDs. They're much brighter which is great for those that like to ride your bumper! Mine indicators as I may have said b4 in this or another thread will flash a little faster, but it catches my eyes if for some reason my turn signal remains on. Flashes the same as the incandescent bulbs with the 4-ways. I'll always pay twice as much for something that last 10x as long!

This is a timely conversation. My turn signals have been clicking extra fast. I checked the turn lights, they worked. It was the stop lights, both of them. I went to Ford service dealer this morning. They were replaced free under warranty.
