Wife wants bigger tires on her ‘21 BS Big Bend.
What’s the largest size it can manage? And what if I put a 1.5-2” lift on it?
Thanks a ton!

And you got EZ Flares. I'm back and fourth on that. Don't want to pay $400 for the full set.

guess it depends on your definition of bigger. It’s skinnier. There’s also limited options In that size for what it’s worth as well.
I'm running 245/65's.
One reason I'm thinking of doing 235/70 is for such a light vehicle I have hydroplaned and been floating on snow. The tires are rated to be great at preventing it too. Definitely going to loose some of the wide stance look though

Actually they are the same 235 size that I had on my original set , they will cut the snow and rain a little better than 245 . Less contact with ground , give that a little thought. Simple math .Enjoy

I swapped my falkens for cooper discoverer at3 on same wheel, and went with higher aspect ratio of 235/70r17. Bigger XL-rated tire with more sidewall for all my offroading needs. These are well-siped and 3 peak rated, excellent reviews, I've never had an issue in rain, snow, or mud.

I’ve got Toyo open country at3 265/65R17 on mine with a 1.5” lift and minor trimming. They look great and ride great too, both on and off-road.

Falken wildpeak 235/65r17. It’s the lightest tire at 31.1 lbs. The best all round tire for SPORTS

245/65/17 KO2's on my Big Bend. No issues. Speedo averages 2mph difference at highway speeds. No issues with the 1.5l turning them either. I wouldn't take it to a drag strip, but I wouldn't have done that with the stock tires anyway.

I would say if you are base , big bend , outer banks. Then I would not go above 245/65/17 (without a lift). I would read Eric (meanderthal post dedicated to this in-depth. He is the professor on this subject.
