I have been looking for a side ladder as well, I have a roof rack though so the high side would have to mount to that. Ive found a few that with minor modifications would work, the best Ive found have a plate on the low side that mounts to the underside of the wheelwell, avoiding questions of...
I have a '21 Sport, about a month ago the battery completely died overnight, still able to jumpstart and drive it to an AutoZone. Getting that battery out was a PITA (manual has you basically disassemble engine bay) but I replaced it and no problems since. Too bad the recall came out after.
I also went with the Damond bushings and DIY install, no moan as of yet, I've put it in situations where I definitely would have had moan before but none now. Very happy
Nice, I have been looking at 16in rims for increased sidewall, have mostly settled on the vision like you have here. Will probably do Cooper AT3 LT tires tho for tread depth, quite a bit heavier than my current setup, not sure how that will affect mpg.
I have reached out to whatever company made that bronco sport for SEMA that had a tube bumper, and they confirmed my fears that it was a PITA to build because the front end is so complicated
2.0L here. Around town (traffic, stop signs, lights) I get 21mpg. On interstates/higher speeds with almost no stops, I get nearly 30mpg. One of my trip meters I have never reset, shows the computer average over 27k miles of 25mpg (also learned the mile counter resets at 10k).
The bronco sport got the highest rating in every IIHS crash test, Ive seen stories of BS rolling over multiple times with little more than superficial damage, their windows are apparently smash proof - this vehicle seems pretty indestructible :D
I swapped my falkens for cooper discoverer at3 on same wheel, and went with higher aspect ratio of 235/70r17. Bigger XL-rated tire with more sidewall for all my offroading needs. These are well-siped and 3 peak rated, excellent reviews, I've never had an issue in rain, snow, or mud.
I swapped my falkens for cooper discoverer at3 4s on same wheel, and went slight higher aspect ratio of 235/70r17. Did not affect my mpgs at all, but bigger tire with more sidewall for all my offroading needs. These are well-siped and 3 peak rated, excellent reviews, I've never had an issue in...
This may not be precisely what you are looking for, but JCR Offroad has developed a nice roof rack with an integrated front wind fairing, which has the option for a 40" light bar cutout. Its some effort to install, but that would fulfill both light bar mounting and wind fairing...
The Badlands can come with 235/65r17 and is also spec'ed to 33psi cold.
I have replaced with 235/70r17, and run slightly lower 30psi cold just to make the bumby roads and potholes around town smoother. When Im really offroading I go down to ~25, I dont have beadlocks so I dont go lower. Long...
I had a flat in a wildpeak and discovered the spare was the base trim tire. Discount tire wouldnt fix the flat (too close to the edge) so I bought a new tire and replaced the spare with the repaired wildpeak (used a small town tire shop with no warranty). So at least my spare is the same size. I...
Im going to order the bundle with these + side turn signals, see how easy it is to install. In the future may also add the three grille lights and maybe even the lightup 'bronco' letters, I would think with this harness they would be fairly easy to add as well
Mine does this as well when it has been sitting in the cold, luckily I park in the garage which is warm enough I can back out without waking the neighborhood.
The backup camera is great for backing into parking spaces so I can get away quietly...
It is another inch over factory, from Ford Bronco Lifts. As said elsewhere, its not the height but the wheel well width that limits tire size. A 235/70 will really depend on how square the shoulder is on the tread, because it is that close to rubbing when turning. Since the well liner is felt...
Heres just after I put them on. They're 30.1in, XL rated, only slightly heavier than the Falken OEMs. Quieter ride too. I dont drive aggressively, but no effect on handling that I can tell and no effect on mpg either
