SWUKU, I see you did the same! You obviously have no "allusions of grandeur"! Lol! Nice lettering on your First Edition as well!

Haters gotta hate.

I bought what I could afford. After pricing a full size Bronco, I could not see a 800 to 900 dollar monthly payment. I'm glad I wandered over to the BS. Very happy with it, and found some great folks here to share my pleasure with.

I owned a Mustang Boss 302 and a Dodge Challenger prior to this BS. Both those forums I belonged to had members that snubbed their nose high over anyone who owned a V6 instead of the 5.0 (Mustang) or V6 Challenger over a Hemi. I disliked all of the hate threads.

Don't see that here, nor have I run across any owners face to face that snub me over my BS to their Bronco. If I do, I'll just smile and walk away.

So some are offended that the general public can't tell a Bronco Sport from their Big Bronco. Right after I got my Sport a guy came up and said he thought my Sport was a "new" Land Rover Discovery! I wasn't in the least offended, but did wonder a bit that he hadn't noticed the big white "Bronco Sport" plastered all over my carbonized gray tail gate . . . maybe the "offendees" should get a life.

This discussion has raised my awareness of my attachment to the Bronco name. We call it our Bronco and love driving it. Several of our neighbors have the full size Bronco (according to this thread, the 'real' Bronco). We've had conversations with them and everyone has complemented our Bronco (Sport). Never seemed like a big deal. In fact, one of our neighbors traded in his Bronco for a Bronco Sport and loves it! (He's a designer at Ford). I understand the Bronco purest's want to evoke a certain image with the Bronco name, God Bless you. But is this a hill you want to die on? The Bronco Sport only promotes the brand and allows more people to appreciate the Bronco experience. Let's all enjoy the ride.

I drove around in the original Bronco...in the late 70s. What I remember was: It was like driving in a tin can. I Love my BS OB. My other ride is an F250 Tremor which also will out perform the full size Bronco off-road...pull a house...and gets 18MPG in city and 22 MPG HWY.....gets over 600 miles to a tank of gas.

If you doubt the BS is a great little 4x4......go suck an egg!

Perspective...the same group (most not all) get into a dick measuring over two doors vs four. They are elitists and full of themselves. The sport is what it is, I love it. 20K miles I wouldn't trade it for the same price.
They piss and moan about Ford and the roof disaster, long waits, mechanical issues...just a group of little bitches. And they act as if the G6 "is" THE Bronco....sorry lil boys...here's your daddy

This entire discussion including the thread on the other site should be labeled ā€œWho gives a crapā€.

My money. I buy what I want. Don’t like what I call it? Then you REALLY need to get a life. Because being offended by what something is called means you are probably offended when someone calls a bagel, toast.

Seen and heard this crap from Harley riders about non-Harley brands. I’m a mod on a Harley forum and just love posting pictures of me riding my sport bikes and my harleys when this topic comes up.

That usually shuts them up. And those pictures are from track days. I take both to the track and run them like I stole ā€˜em.

When I really want to jerk a Harley riders chain, I post pictures of me riding a Harley with full sport bike leathers. They lose their minds. It’s hilarious.

I would push back and say if you dont have a Bill Stroppe Baja Bronco or Big Oly Bronco, you don't have a real Bronco.
Heck, even the OJ Simpson Bronco is better, lol
So here is a fun fact.........I personally knew both guys inside the white Bronco. OJ lived in my apartment Building and had many interactions including hanging out at his Apt, and Al Cowlings (The Driver and Best Friend)....was on my paper route.

Since were discussing useless stuff anyway!

You can check me to: I know the address (Apt 518) Google Boulevard Towers Amherst NY

Well damn it… now I’m offended. I was perfectly fine until you had to bring up bagels ? and toast. How are they the same? ?. Carry on. This is hilarious.

Why can't you get a good bagel outside the NYC region? :)

I think this topic might be better placed under the heading of ā€œfirst world problems.ā€ Have had my big bend since December. Needed a vehicle with a little more room than my Mustangs. I’ve always liked the escape, but the Bronco Sport just looks 10x better. It is a terrific Urban Assault Vehicle. All the Full Size Bronco owners I’ve met have been cool. No negativity at all. Wouldn’t care either way…
