I don't have that level of trust.
Me either. To me, that’s crazy talk. Not only do aftermarket companies frequently design and manufacture kits that don’t work properly , many manufacturers will use that excuse to void warranties.

Any pics of your departed 69 Mach-1? I have a 69 Coupe because I could not afford a Mach-1 20 years ago, so I settled for a Coupe.

I traded my 69 mach 1 that I had for 30 years to get this bronco (long story ) so I want to do this right.
Tough call, but everyone can have their own reasons for trading. Although my previous car wasn't a classic '69 I did trade a treasured 2004 CrownVic and I found that emotional.

Modifying your vehicle can make some question themselves. I modified my CrownVic and with each mod I questioned if I was doing the right thing. Mind you the mods I did were pretty much all bolt-ons so none of it was really radical. And in the end each mod did enhance the car in a positive way. You have to come to terms with what you really want. Also I'd say be aware of whether the vehicle you're modifying is for a specific purpose or is it your daily driver where you have to live with the modifications every day.

Lots of folks around here have modified their Bronco Sports so I don't really see where your dilemma is given if it seems to be relatively routine.

If I was your son I would've disowned you for not passing that car onto me and giving it to a dealership for a big bend. Hopefully you have no payments and free oil changes for the next 4 years

Hi, new to the forum. I joined because everything I do with/to my new 2025 sport BB I drive myself nuts questioning if what I am doing is best for my new Bronco. Even just washing turned into a ton of questions ! My friend of 40+ years says thats typical me ! I traded my 69 mach 1 that I had for 30 years to get this bronco (long story ) so I want to do this right.
The latest quagmire in my head is lifting. I got a rough country 1.5 kit with the loaded front struts and rear springs. Was going to do the HRG but then ... questions. The whole reason I went with lift was to fit 245/65r17 BFG at KO2s. Wanted the raised white letter and that was the closest size they came in. Anyway... I have looked at many threads here and my question now is should I cancel my lift kit order and just put the tires on without it ? Like the stance upgrade but am reading about problems it can cause. am I worried for nothing ? My buddy says they wouldnt make the kit if it would be a prob ? He is also the one that dosent have a problem cutting off half of his fender on the 1994 I sold him to fit tires ! Not my style.
So I have that lift installed on my 2024 BS BB... And I love it.. The install took a little time with a buddy, instructions were clear mostly...but I will tell you is to not go by the toque specs in the installation guide for the OEM, they are way off.. There are other install videos out there that will give you the correct torque specs or a quick Google search as well

I put on 245/65r17 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss ATs... These are serious tires... Not allot off increased road noise, handled the gravel and dirt trails in the the Smokey Mountains like a champ..along with the lift.

I had the tires mounted and balanced and alignment done by an offroad company... The owner said it was the perfect setup for the BS... The N3 struts is what he installs on other upgrades

So to lift or not to lift... I say lift it

Tires go on today, then a little test drive to test things out ...
