Yeah, that seems more like a popularity list to me. They also drill down to trim level. Like they list the Maverick XL Hybrid as a bad deal. That is likely because does not make many XL Hybrids. They make a crap ton of XLT Hybrids, which you can find at MSRP. They also make more Lariat Hybrids, which Long McArthur Ford just said they have a stock pile of on their lot (probably get that under MSRP). So interesting how they cherry pick.

It's eye brow raising that the majority of the vehicles on the list are Ford. FWIW, I found the 4 door Bronco to be spectacularly overpriced for their base model. Which is why I now drive the Swamp Ape. 😅

This is a list of cars that Consumer Reports finds are still selling with mark ups. I find it interesting that six of the twelve are from a company with the "worst" quality.

There is some errors in that list. The MachE you can get major discounts on them now. There is over 1yr. inventory available right now. Also if you don't want a Heritage Bronco you can get a non Raptor or Heritage for sticker now.

Major discounts on a Mustang Mach E?

Feet don't fail me now....as I run far away from that potential that is.

I get what you're saying, but the fact there is 1 yr of inventory means they're not selling, despite the major discounts. To me, that's an indication of just how bad a deal consumers believe these cars are.

Agreed, I also believe demand for electric cars have plateaued. Even Tesla is offering deals on various models.

The ev fad, like the two cng fads we've had, is also finally coming to and end. We don't have the infrastructure or electrical grid for evs and the coolness factor is dying off, just like the fad itself.

Back to gas and hybrid vehicles that actually make sense and work within most people's constraints and needs.

How about this Ford dealer. Check the added options list from the dealer then about the 3:50 second mark take a look at the vehicle it pertains to.
