I seem to hover around 27 mpg with my 2024 … 6100 miles on it. If fuel up with 87 octane

LOVE the tune and yes I'm still using the Pedal Max at full.. Why wouldn't I!How do you like the Tune? And are you still using the Pedal Max with it?
that sucks, I definatly won't be installing that tune haha.. for a side bar I was on hollidays in ontario and the rental company gave me a BS for a car, we got even better milage..I have a 5 Star tune (perf 93) and getting a combined 28mpg with my 1.5 in "normal" mode
If it was fuel milage I was after, I would have gotten a Priusthat sucks, I definatly won't be installing that tune haha.. for a side bar I was on hollidays in ontario and the rental company gave me a BS for a car, we got even better milage..
but having said that, I put new tires on my car last week and I am going to take a fule hit, just waiting for the tires to break in to see how much. I will be doing about 650mile trip on saturday so I can see if they are starting to settle down yet with a good highway drive
haha fair enough. I bought this mainly for a car to comute to work, my old 2010 fusion had 370000km on it and it was time to trade it in. I drive 120ish miles back and forth to work each day so fuel milage was a concern. otherwise I would just drive my diesel f350. the savings in fuel from driving the truck to this is about 7000 a year, which is about 3/4 of the payment on the new car a year. plus I save the wear and tear on the diesel so it will last a lot longer and is way more expensive to replace. If it was fuel milage I was after, I would have gotten a Prius
Choices are the essence of freedom. I'm glad we have many.I wanted somthing that was small deicent on fuel, had interior room for my hocvky equipment, and had the off road capability to make it better when there is 6" of snow on top of the ice while I am driving to work.
"deer Country"haha fair enough. I bought this mainly for a car to comute to work, my old 2010 fusion had 370000km on it and it was time to trade it in. so the fusion got about 7.8l/100km, the bronco is getting 6.8l/100km (better in the flat lands haha) the bronco accelerates harder, has more power for passing and has room for my hockey bags so I don't have to use the truck for that. .. I do a lot of driving through dear country and mountian roads with changing weather, so the led lights and AWD were a requirment (just like I was willing to sacrafice a bit of fuel milage for the Cooper street and trail AT tires) the heated seats and steering wheel were nice touches and the upgraded sound system is a definat bonus for the time I spend driving to work and back. for me it wasn't becaue i wanted an off road machien, would have bought a real bronco if that was my intent, but I wanted somthing that was small deicent on fuel, had interior room for my hocvky equipment, and had the off road capability to make it better when there is 6" of snow on top of the ice while I am driving to work.
that really added to the conversation, guess there has to be at least one on every board."deer Country"
Whooo. What painful units....so the fusion got about 7.8l/100km, the bronco is getting 6.8l/100km

haha, I know and it isn't a good conversion, normally I do post the American mpg to make it easier on you guys. I still work with mpg as it makes more sense than L/100 km to me because I am old and grew up with mpg, but Canadian gal, not your small American galWhooo. What painful units.
VEHICLE L/100 km MPG (US) MPG (UK) KM/L BRONCO 6.8 34.6 41.5 14.7 FUSION 7.8 30.2 36.2 12.8
Notes: (arrgghh. That is not an easy conversion)
- Invert the l/100 km
- Multiply by 100 km
- Multiply 3.785 liters per US Gallon
- Divide by 1.609 km per mile.
L/100 km MPG US) MPG (UK) km/L 6.8 34.6 41.5 14.7 7.8 30.2 36.2 12.8 5 47.0 56.5 20.0 6 39.2 47.0 16.7 7 33.6 40.3 14.3 8 29.4 35.3 12.5 9 26.1 31.4 11.1 10 23.5 28.2 10.0 11 21.4 25.7 9.1 12 19.6 23.5 8.3
Just an update, will be more exact in a couple days. while I was on holidays, I took the tires it came with from the factory off and put the cooper street and trail at's on it. same 18" factory size and I have lost a fair amount of fuel milage. so before going to work and back I was getting 6.7 to 6.8L/100km. I did one trip to work two days ago, but wasn't driving normal and got about 7.9L/100km. I am switching to night shift tonight, so I will see what it averages over the next two nights and get a better number.. but I am also not sure if the tires are broken in yet or still at that new "bad gas milage" stage
Pleased to meet you. Got a church friend who is fleeing the hurricanes to go back to retire in Canda.haha... but Canadian gal, not your small American gal![]()
I would not fuss about KM/L. That makes sense. Tis consumer based.I still work with mpg as it makes more sense than L/100 km to me![]()

The conversion would be just for us to multiply by 2.35*. Easy peasy.
It is the inversion that is the issue.
* Lets see, can we get close without a calculator?
1. Round off 14.7 to 15
2. Double the number. 30
3. Find 10% (move the decimal) 3
4. Find 5% (1/2 of 10%) 1.5
5. Add them up. 30 + 3 + 1.5 34.5
Second try: 12.8
13... to 26... get 10% 2.6 and 5% is 1.3 so about 30
Knowing conversion formulas is good and calculating in my head (even with some approximations) is also goodI would not fuss about KM/L. That makes sense. Tis consumer based.
