Came up with a solution I applied yesterday when I got home from work. Rainy, ugly day. Parked outside for an hour, or so, when I got home. Then parked in the garage, bingo - minimum water droppage. - didn't have to use the squeegee. Not the normal deluge.
THe water is not small enough to ignore, well for me to ignore :-) I will probably just keep doing what I do now. We put a heater in the garage during the winter so that will help evaporate some of it.
Might end up doing the boot trays as @RushMan suggested.
Didn't know where to post this, so dropping in General.
Maybe it is just me, but my 2024 BS Outerbanks sheds a lot of water in the garage. Much more than any of the vehicles we had there before (328i, X3, Infinity QX4, Kia Spectra even the F150) not that big a deal but it is annoying having...
Had my windshield replaced last month. Insurance covered everything and it was painless. Never seen a windshield crack so quickly and easily. Almost like the windshield is under stress from pressure.
my 2024 does not have this ... so bizzare .. things like remote start .. remote unlock and lock .. but not a simple garage door opener button. All in all, I'd rather have the things I mentioned earlier than the garage remote.
