I already sent them a message but they didn't reply :crying:. Do you remember which version of Forscan they sent you? Thanks
One thing I've noticed is that they seem to respond quicker to people with the paid license more than the free one. Either way, I would try emailing them again. I emailed them two days ago and got a response the next day saying they were working on my request and sent me a test build today.

Solved! I had to use an older version of Fodscan. Thanks everyone.

Went to disable the seatbelt pop up in the IPC, but my module only goes to 720-11-02, well 720-13-01 through 720-14-02 needs modified. I am using a Vgate vLinker. I just did other modules with it yesterday such as high beam fade on, climate to sync screen, bambi mode. Anyone else have this issue?

IPC does not go past 720-11-02 on these vehicles.

Edit: For 2021-2024 vehciles. 2025+ are different.

Well thats good and bad I suppose. Is there a module I can modify to get rid of the dash warning of what seatbelt isn't buckled ? That popup is annoying. Thabks

I'll dig around to see what I can find. I used the spreadsheet for the Maverick and the Explorer for these trucks as they seem to be the closest thing out there to them.

What speadsheet were you looking at?

Try this from the 2023 Explorer spreadsheet:

My 2023 shows this:

e,

Assuming yours also has a 6 there, I would change it from 6 to a 0 to disable everything in that location and then reboot the IPC from the wrench icon menu.

I will try that this evening, thank you. I have a feeling its just for the chimes and not the seating diagram that pops up in the cluster showing which occupied seat is buckled or unbuckled, but maybe it will be progress and a future entry for a Bronco Sport spreadsheet.

There are other things you can try if you're the FAFO type, but some things have very easy and inexpensive solutions where it is not worth racking your brain over it. I just use these in my vehicles. I want the seatbelt minder to work for when my kids are in our vehicles.

I have 5 adult children all out of the house and just our 14 year old left. We went shopping yesterday and the 3 back seat passengers weren't always the fastest at buckling. I may just live with it if I cant find and easy Forscan solution.

This post is a copy from:

https://www.broncosportforum.com/forum/threads/did-some-forscan-mods-to-the-bb-all-successful.19381/page-3

“I can confirm what NHD96 posted for disabling the auto start stop with Forscan. I was successful doing it and it’s easy. The light above the button doesn’t show it’s off, but the icon on the dash does show it’s off. If anyone needs more of a visual with steps I found this video for the big bronco, but it is the same for the sports. Just jump to the 6:54 mark for the auto start stop. and for getting rid of the icon on the dash just do what NHD96 said,
IPC:
Auto Stop Start - Disabled”

“You can also use the spreadsheet for the Ford Maverick: Forscan 2022-2024 Ford Maverick

I used the following functions on my BS BB and everything works:
- Auto Start/Stop Disable
- Door Ajar Chimes Disable
- Triple Ding at Start Up Disable
- Headlight Switch/Dial Default to "Last Known Position" instead of "Auto"
- Change Audio, Phone and Nav screens (4 inch cluster only)

I also enabled Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR), but used some different settings (for European region).”

@rugedraw I shared the sheet with the info

btw, look that video i made a few hours ago
my wife noted that behavior. I changed nothing from what we talked already

the fold button was pressed before turn off the car, so the mirror was fold.
I close the door and lock the car, the mirror unfold. I unlock the car and the mirror fold.
resume: we are almost there but is happening in the opposite way that we need :)

I am at this stage as well on my 2022 BS Wildtrak. I had a thought (and I'm not expert enough to validate and have not verified any wiring on the mirror motors) but could a change in wiring take advantage of this? i.e. reverse the warning so that the "close" signal is rerouted to the "open" port on the motor? and vice-versa?

Is ChatGPT correct?
I am trying to solve the folding mirror issue on my Latin American spec 2022 BS Wildtrak originally bound for Colombia. I'm using Forscan but I'm a beginner. I did manage to enable the Oil Life option on the Settings menu, however (small victories).
So I've been using Chat GPT to help on the folding mirror issue. My mirrors fold when button is pressed, and they auto-fold in the wrong direction when opening and locking when the option is toggled on the Sync menu after enabling with Forscan.
Chat GPT gives me this explanation. Is it correct?
Why the mirrors unfold when you lock (final, correct explanation)
This behaviour is intentional in this firmware:
  • Manual mirror fold = temporary override
  • Lock event = return vehicle to baseline configuration
  • Baseline for this market = mirrors open
So when you:
  1. Fold mirrors manually
  2. Press lock
The BCM does exactly what it’s programmed to do:

“Vehicle state changing → restore default mirror position”
That’s why it feels inverted. It’s not a bug — it’s a design choice for this market.

Why SYNC lets you enable the option (and why that’s misleading)
SYNC (APIM):

  • Only controls menus and user preferences
  • Has no awareness of what the BCM can actually act on
Ford reused SYNC software globally, but:

  • LATAM BCM firmware omits comfort-lock mirror logic
  • SYNC still exposes the menu
This creates the illusion of a missing setting — but it’s not missing, it’s never compiled in.

Why this cannot be fixed with FORScan (important)
FORScan can:

  • Toggle existing logic
  • Enable dormant features
FORScan cannot:

  • Add missing BCM functions
  • Inject NA/EU comfort logic into a LATAM BCM
  • Change the lock-event behaviour without reflashing firmware
There is no As-Built value you can change to make this work.
