2022 Big Bend, almost 3 years. 10K, all short trips. NO problems at all. The squeaky brakes and two recalls (injectors and software) were taken care of at my convenience. Must add that the dealership has gone far above expectations.

30k No issues, other than a couple of rock chips, one took out the windshield (which happened in Moab with all those rock crawlers on the highway) the other (smaller) was repaired.

We keep hearing about this is wrong, or that is wrong. Are there any BS owners out there without any issues? I’ve had my 2024 BS Badlands for two months and I’d really like to hear some positivity. It was difficult for me to come over to Ford as it is (20 years a Jeep person and before that Subaru). I am really liking my Bronco Sport but I’m getting nervous that I may have made a bad move.

Just about one year new, 6200 trouble free miles!
With the BS BB additional options at very little additional cost I may order 2025!

I've had my o/b for 2 yrs now and I would have to say it's been a great experience so far. Other than the recalls, my dealership came to the house and did the recalls on both occasions. So far So good,

I have the 2024 BS Badlands and enjoy the ride and power that it provides. I get 21 to 23 mpg around town and 28 to 31 mpg highway. The recalls for the battery and memory, etc. have been done and all is well.

I've had a '21 and now a '23 and other than oil changes, no troubles at all.

yep nature of forums most people join to try and solve problems or get answers to questions.. I'd like mine a lot more if I didn't need to turn off every feature a user can to keep the battery from going into standby or the windshield edge of the hood didn't bounce when I drive over 65 miles an hour like it wants to fly off... and no putting a rubber fuel hose in the seal did nothing for it when it reached that speed.(it did help for intercity driving). and well as with almost all new cars today I HATE the auto shut off. I really want to love this ride (Big Bend) but after 6 months I can't say that... perhaps someday I'll get over those issues but I'm a bit of a B!+@# by nature hahaha

I have a 21 with 50K and no issues and a 24 with only 1K but no issues. I can tell that the 24 has definitely benefitted from 4 years of production. It is smoother, quiter and gets better mileage. Both are 1.5L Big Bends.

I’m a forum lamprey. I soak it all in and sift through all the stuff to make informed decisions by reading the amazing people who fact-check, decipher, and do all the work so I can go enjoy my BSBL.

I want to happily report that I have just rolled 47K in my 23 Badlands. Bought the car June 28th, 2023. I drive semi about 2600+ hours a year and have had ZERO problems.

I have taken it to baseball stadiums all over the country, BLM roads I had no business being on, logging roads in National Forests that high-fived me for 50 miles, dozens of National Parks & Monuments, over flooded roads, down dry creeks, and over mountains in search of agates and amethyst and all measure of beautiful minerals. I have been out to fancy ass dinners and mudded my way through so much of my Great Lakes homeland, been to museums and plays and shows and concerts. I’ve ticked off over half of Wisconsin’s amazing Rustic Road program.

I’ve been to Minnesota (my home state), Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan, South and North Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Oregon, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Tennessee, Canada, Ohio, New York, Maryland….awww hell, it’d be easier to list where I haven’t been.

NOT. One. Single. Problem.

Just ordered a 2025 Sasquatch Edition Bronco Sport Badlands in Carbonized Grey (I have the Orange Bumblebee everyone calls yellow and am ready to be a little less conspicuous) and I can’t wait. I want the nudge bar. There are some cows in the Buffalo Gap Grasslands that stubbornly won’t get out of my way every time I am there….Mooooo, nudge, mooooooo, nudge NUDGE).

incidentally, ran the Falken AT/3, switched out for the AT/4s, awesome. Still hitting 24.3 to 25.5 mpg.

Only complaint—-will someone come put my Siless mastic in the doors???? Had it for months and drag it in and out of my cargo, saying, “I’ll get to you this weekend”. Never do. Stereo still sucks. I like to bump sometimes. Oh yeah, and I finally shredded my felt everywhere but that’s just lazy me not upgrading.

Hi. I am new to this forum. I have had my 2024 Badlands since June. While due to some family issues have not been able to take it on any adventures yet. However, I have no problems with it. Will be on the road more in the next few months and will update if anything changes.

21 BL bought new so 3 yr now. She's at 17k miles, yeah, I know...garaged mostly. I did have one major issue. My tranny case had to be replaced due to porous material (can't say I've heard that before!), but Ford fixed that immediately. I feel very taken care of by Ford and I love how the BL handles. No regrets here!

I've had my 2024 Big Bend for over six months and have no problems. I think so much of the fears we have is based upon the fact that nobody posts content (not just here, but on places like YouTube) unless something negative happens.

I've been driving for 50 years, and have many, many vehicles (the earliest model being a 1960). "Content providers" on YouTube never seem to recognize the obvious fact that these vehicles are far, far superior to their ancestors. For instance, compare the new Bronco Sport to, say, the Pinto or the Escort. In terms of build quality, fit and finish, handling, power, safety, features and potential longevity of the body and trim, there can be no comparison. Concerned about the recalls? We seem to forget that every vehicle, regardless of manufacturer - going back 100 years - have had recalls. Some of these recalls serious, some not so serious.

Another thing: my biggest concern is that owners of these new engine designs are not told what is need to ensure they last a long time. They have unique needs (none of which are unreasonable). Example: We don't get nearly 200 horsepower out of a 3-cylinder without paying some kind of price. The price is to change the oil frequently with a good quality synthetic, let it spool down before shutting the vehicle down on a hot day, give it a bit of time to warm up in a cold morning and keep close tabs on all the fluid levels.

Let's face it: consumers today are often unreasonable. They demand convenience features, power and longevity at a very low price - regardless of the expense/availability of raw materials, assembly staff, often irrational government regulations, high taxes, etc. In spite of the problems Ford has faced with their recalls, they have a tough row to hoe. They are literally asked to please everybody.

Bottom line: if I were to place my new Bronco Sport next to my 1975 Pinto, the Bronco Sport absolutely trounces it. Much better gas mileage, far more room, probably four times the power with an engine maybe 1/2 the physical size of the Pinto's. And don't forget these little Bronco Sports are like billy goats on bad roads and trails.

I think this is a matter of perspective and willingness by us to care for this innovative little vehicle. Take care of it, and it will take care of you.

Oh, I've also got to say that I chose this Big Bend over the Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness for numerous reasons, and have had five Jeep Wrangers in the past 25 years.
What would that 1975 Pinto have cost? $5K? Or was that a price class higher than the Pinto at the time? Run that through an inflation calculator today, that’s $30K… yeah. Ok it’s a little tough maybe to get into a Sport for $30K now, but it’s not far off. So your comparison is doubly valid based on what you’re getting for the money.
