AGM definitely, did you buy from ford or other. And how did the install go? What did you mean by 1click lock?
I lock it once on keyfob w/o alarm even when inside the garage for the now. Seems to powerdown most everything and keep parasitic draws to a minimum.

“w/o alarm”? What does that mean - I thought the vehicle always alarms when locked.

I don’t the alarm does not engage until the second click when the horn sounds.

I always thought the system armed upon locking the vehicle pressing once to lock. This is all the owners manual says:

Arming the Alarm
The alarm is ready to arm when there is not a key in the ignition. Electronically lock the vehicle to arm the alarm.

Locking the Doors
Press the button to lock all doors. The direction indicators flash.
Press the button again within three seconds to confirm that all the doors are closed. The doors lock again, the horn sounds and the direction indicators flash if all the doors and the luggage compartment are closed.

I've had my 21 Big Bend since Aug of 21. 47000 miles, multiple long road trips from Colorado to Idaho, Oregon, California, Missouri ect... no issues. I've had the recalls all addressed but never had any of the symptoms of them other than the brake moan which is slightly annoying but not earth shaking. Overall I am extremely happy with my Bronco Sport and recommend them to anyone who asks. Hope this gives you some confidence in your choice. Cheers!

I've had 2 issues. My audio has a slick hiccup occasionally.

The hose to my front camera windshield washer fluid jet was leaking and had to be replaced... so, nothing too significant.

We keep hearing about this is wrong, or that is wrong. Are there any BS owners out there without any issues? I’ve had my 2024 BS Badlands for two months and I’d really like to hear some positivity. It was difficult for me to come over to Ford as it is (20 years a Jeep person and before that Subaru). I am really liking my Bronco Sport but I’m getting nervous that I may have made a bad move.

23 Outer Banks with about 23k on it. I was afraid to go get the PCM and Sync recalls done last week for fear they would mess up my good thing! But not having to turn the radio off has been nice.

I've had my 2024 Big Bend for over six months and have no problems. I think so much of the fears we have is based upon the fact that nobody posts content (not just here, but on places like YouTube) unless something negative happens.

I've been driving for 50 years, and have many, many vehicles (the earliest model being a 1960). "Content providers" on YouTube never seem to recognize the obvious fact that these vehicles are far, far superior to their ancestors. For instance, compare the new Bronco Sport to, say, the Pinto or the Escort. In terms of build quality, fit and finish, handling, power, safety, features and potential longevity of the body and trim, there can be no comparison. Concerned about the recalls? We seem to forget that every vehicle, regardless of manufacturer - going back 100 years - have had recalls. Some of these recalls serious, some not so serious.

Another thing: my biggest concern is that owners of these new engine designs are not told what is need to ensure they last a long time. They have unique needs (none of which are unreasonable). Example: We don't get nearly 200 horsepower out of a 3-cylinder without paying some kind of price. The price is to change the oil frequently with a good quality synthetic, let it spool down before shutting the vehicle down on a hot day, give it a bit of time to warm up in a cold morning and keep close tabs on all the fluid levels.

Let's face it: consumers today are often unreasonable. They demand convenience features, power and longevity at a very low price - regardless of the expense/availability of raw materials, assembly staff, often irrational government regulations, high taxes, etc. In spite of the problems Ford has faced with their recalls, they have a tough row to hoe. They are literally asked to please everybody.

Bottom line: if I were to place my new Bronco Sport next to my 1975 Pinto, the Bronco Sport absolutely trounces it. Much better gas mileage, far more room, probably four times the power with an engine maybe 1/2 the physical size of the Pinto's. And don't forget these little Bronco Sports are like billy goats on bad roads and trails.

I think this is a matter of perspective and willingness by us to care for this innovative little vehicle. Take care of it, and it will take care of you.

Oh, I've also got to say that I chose this Big Bend over the Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness for numerous reasons, and have had five Jeep Wrangers in the past 25 years.

I have had my ´22 Bronco Sport Big Bend for 2 1/2 years, now. 47,000 kilometers (about 29,000 miles). Taken about 4 trips from the central Mexican coast (where I live) to Houston and various excursions around Mexico. Not a single problem. I´ve had the required maintenance on a timely basis and had the recalls done. It would have been nice to have some higher quality materials in the interior to perhaps cut down on some of the rattles, but given some of the road conditions in Mexico, I think every car driven here would develop rattles on the inside. The tires are beginning to show wear earlier than they should, so those likely will be replaced before I make another journey to Texas.

I would buy the vehicle, again.

Of the over 500,000 Bronco Sports on the road in North America only a small percentage of them have experienced problems. The vast majority have been without issues, myself included.
Don’t rely on Facebook and Forum posts as they can be biased and unreliable.
Positive posts are more rare since people don’t see the need to tell everyone just how great these vehicles really are.
