I was not able to find splice S207 in PTS, but the connector that @DonImbimbo mentioned C2280B does mention ambient lighting in some of the pins. It mentions postive and negative for the ambient light sensor, but no mention of the LIN: See attached; it is located here:

What you said has confused me about the correct circuit... I connected pin 31 of the C2280D and pin 4 of the C2280F. But pin 4 has no voltage.

So we're off to a bad start! I'm wondering if it has a fuse or if the correct circuit is the one you described.

I got that from Ford's workshop manual for a 2025 BS. Unless the info is wrong which would not surprise me.

FWIW, there's no 2025+ BS model/trim that has ambient lighting any more, so they may very well have removed all the wiring involved in that. Still, with the brackets for mounting the lights, the blue OEM ones may just need to be tapped into the courtesy light circuit or something. guess we shall see.

not strange at all, 25 model year is a generation change, different electronic requirments, as sensors changed and such with the motor change. happens every time there is a generation change in their lines. less popular options are dropped some times new ones added. any issues they had in the previouse generation are updated in the new.

then they would only be on when the door is open or interior lights are turned on .

ok finaly got dark enough to get some pics

I am wondering if we can find a multi color led from a different aplication and change out the stock ones. the conrole for color shifting is in the settings if you unlock it with forscan but not sure if everything else is there.

A multicolor LED would need some form of a control interface … the LIN bus was mentioned in an earlier post and didn’t look like Bronco Sports have a pin for the LIN control on the connector… but I don’t have the wiring diagrams so can’t say what’s needed to make multicolor work

there are multiple types of multicolor LEDS…

yup, or three wire if it is an adressable. what has me confused is that they have the option to enable to color selection setting when you go to forscan. so I was going to take a look and see if I could find a different led modual that fits the location that is maybe in a escape titanium or somthing. its like in mine the conector for the lighted cupholder is under the center cupholder so I just need to buy one from the escort and it will light up also.

The 2025 BS BCM is exactly the same as the 2025 Maverick. So we wouldn't have a problem at least adding a blue light.
We'd just need to find the correct PIN!
The option for blue or colored ambient light appears in the BCM settings.
