Surprised that there are no aftermarket options for this accessor tray.
I'm sure there will be soon enough, but it is kind of a limited market. I'd watch Bulletpoint and BuiltRight, they've been making mounts for the F-150 for a while now. Once my BL gets delivered (118 days since the order and still no production date!), I'll be taking measurements and start developing some different mounts & mini-racks using the "Accessory Ready" points.

I discovered that the USB-C port in the accessory tray of the 2025 bronco sport supplies power regardless of the engine on or off. Will drain the battery over time.
That would make sense to me for various devices (not to time out)

At least one other owner reported that same accessory USB-C port timed out and turned off so maybe it various with a setting or whatever IDK for the 2025s

And other owners reported that same accessory USB-C port was not suitable for many Dash Cams due to its limited current capability (one post is earlier #8 and related #9 but there are other threads on this topic)

I've looked and cannot find any info on the accessory ready M6-1.0 mounts in the dash tray. Are there kits or post you can put here.

You can purchase from McMaster Carr a 6mm to 1/4 inch adapter then attach accessories such as bulletpoint mounting solutions.

I see this was posted back in March, any luck finding kits that work?

UPDATE: I just got my short cables in to power things up and I can confirm that the dash cam (at least the brand I have (Vantrue)) will NOT power up from the accessory tray USB-C port. Interestingly, it will also not power up in the lower console USB-C port either but it WILL power up with the old school USB port (and obviously the 12V Port).
In a perfect world, it would be great to power it up with the accessory tray port, I instead routed my powering path to the 12V port in the lower console area.
There’s really no clever tuck away options based on how the BS is constructed, however in the attached photo this is the path of least resistance, and it’s a heck of a lot easier to do this than attaching the camera to the top of center of the windshield and running the cable through the headliner and down only to still face the same lack of tucking options towards the 12V port.
Apparently the ROVE R2-4K camera can be powered from the USB-C port in the ‘25-‘26 accessory tray

Not entirely sure but this camera’s USB-C power requirement might be: ~5V @~1.5A (TBD). I still have not found a spec from Ford for the power that particular port can supply.

Also: a hardware kit can be purchased from ROVE to supply power for some amount of recording when the vehicle is turned off

Another owner posted these pics (the added wording is mine)

So my question is, does the image on the screen get inverted so it looks normal since the pics show the camera mounted upside down?

Trying to find info on 4K cameras that confirms they can be mounted upside down and that the screen image will be inverted to normal is almost impossible.

I think Ford should have 1 usb-c and 1 usb port in the tray area.

Yes - the ROVE R2-4K camera has a setting that properly inverts the image when the camera is mounted upside down (according to the owner that posted the pics)

Btw I did read at least one ROVE R2-4K camera review that described the rear camera image as not very good

Thanks. I'm only interested in the front facing camera that I would mount in the tray.

I don't know much about Go-Pro cameras.

What's your thoughts about using one of those?

I don’t have a Go-Pro but I’m sure others will comment on your post and I recall seeing Go-Pro posts on the full size Bronco Forum

Edited: there are YouTube videos about using a Go-Pro in Broncos .. easy to search for those

As an aside topic: Go-Pro mounting options: (also are available on Amazon for ‘25-‘26 (and ‘21-‘24) as well as on other sites)

I connected the bulletpount mounting solutions 25 bronco sport package. Connected right to the two mounting bolts. 😊 got a VERY solid phone holder and a GoPro mount connected.
