It should be noted that the CMS is NOT a drop-in item. The rear interior panels are different. If not ordered from the factory, it’s kind of cost-prohibitive to add them after the fact.

Had mine a week now. Drives like a different vehicle. Quieter. Brakes more responsive. Sasquatch suspension is fantastic. Engine has more pep and shifts are smoother and better tuned. Getting used to the touch screen but overall pleased with everything. Got the Badlands Tech package and Cargo management system on top of the Sasquatch.

The bar is "unique" but regardless I like having something up in front of the grill. We have deer, wild pigs, bear, stray dogs, and any other assortment of animals dashing across the roads here in SE GA.
It does make it look more off-roady to me.

I'm pretty certain that was the same with my 2023 Badlands. You had to have the CMS ordered from factory as that required the proper mold and locking points installed.

ok. That valve is for back pressure management. Thought is the muffler can’t flow enough when say you go wide open throttle so the valve open to relieve some back pressure
Just to add more tech info on that. From Ford Service it is called a "Passive valve"

The exhaust passive valve opens and closes mechanically based upon engine exhaust pressure and aides in the acoustic tuning of the exhaust system. If equipped, the valve requires no maintenance and is serviced as part of the muffler and tailpipe assembly.

I saw the Ford Service documents updated to April 2025, there is a whole section for troubleshooting the Gasoline Particulate Filter and servicing.

It is coming for sure...

Hopefully it stays in California and its fellow travelers. Even without the GPF, it’s already more powerful, fuel-efficient, and emissions friendly than anything comparable from 20 years ago.
