I think it's like the folding mirror saga. Ford have some mismatch between sales and real specs. I confirm I don't have a gas particulate filter on my "Canadian" BL Sasquatch 2025.

I've watched two different videos and one says the Badlands comes with a 250hp engine and the other one says it's 238hp. Is this a California emissions thing or what? And yes, I'm too lazy to go and read all the 2025 Badlands Sasquatch threads, lol.
At launch, they said a gas filter would need to be added to both the 1.5L and the 2.0L in CARB states. 1.5L received theirs at job 2. 2.0L will receive theirs at job 3 slated to start production in July. They did say that both the Maverick and Bronco Sport Badlands would see a 12 horsepower loss. I have been told that they have been testing them since last fall when the numbers were required to be published and they may not see a loss of horsepower.

I don't see any GPF but there is a release valve on a section ... what is the purpose?
So the valve is the to release the stuff out of the filter system, if it gets clogged up. If it does get clogged, just drive around for a bit. Or release the valve, have one on my VW beetle, diesel engine , it's annoying. I will not miss it when I get my BS

Nice!!!!

only thing I don’t care for is the nudge bar…. But that’s just me.
Looks kinda tacky for everyday driving for my tastes.

but there is no filter. It's there in prevision of the upcoming GPF ?

Not sure. I have to look into that, and ask, give me a few hours on a answer for you.

So how much hp would be lost for the 1.5. Currently at 180 hp, it can't lose much if any.

I know the Big Bend Black Diamond Off Road package doesn't provide "Sasquatch" performance, so is it worth the extra cost for the looks? Or, move up to the Outer Banks or Badlands?

It might not have the engine performance but it's still a pretty capable vehicle. I went on a drive with some other Broncos and BSs last weekend and we ended up at this river crossing. If I had better protection under my BS and tougher tires, I would have easily gone up those steps. Instead, I went around. Actually, these don't look too bad but there were some others that were taller.

I guess I see it as equipment I'd like to add if I was going to be adventurous but I can get Ford to add on their OEM equipment themselves. Plus, the wheels look nicer with the BDORP. At least on the 21-24 versions.

It gets upgraded protection, aux switches, front and rear Bumpers with steel plates, recovery points in the front and rear, tow package (only other way to get this with out going Sasquatch), cargo management system, fender tire downs. It's for the adventurous person that isn't doing off roading but might need that protection. I did a video on it.

Weird mine (Badlands Sasquatch) didn't get the cargo management system. It was a separate burried option.
