My Badlands should be arriving here in NJ next week - 4-10-22
The dealer advises I can choose either the $1000 incentive rebate or 0.9 financing but not both
If I take the money, the financing will be 3.9 for 48 months
Not sure which to choose

I got 1.9 for 48mo and the 1K rebate.… yesterday. You could still get both

oh and I’d do the 0.9

i don’t know your loan details but depending on dealers they harp on that rebate then drown it with a bunch of fees plus the sales tax is based on the price Before rebates. I don’t put much Stock in rebates. They take the attention off of the fees

Is the .9% for 36 or 48 months?

you should get both incentives if you are eligible for both.

Interesting - The finance guy at my dealership clearly stated one or the other
Is there any FORD documentation that states you can have both?

Your dealer is lying to you. You are eligible for the $1000 customer order AND any other incentives at the time of order OR at the time of purchase. PERIOD. Weather that be special financing rates from Ford Credit or incentives like Ford Bonus Cash. The $1000 for ordering is not tied to any other offer, you order a qualifying vehicle, you get the money. If Ford was offering another $500 bonus cash (they aren’t right now) when you placed your order or when you complete the purchase, you would be eligible for that too.

As far as financing specials, I have not seen anything anywhere stating that Ford Credit finance rates are an either/or proposition. Unless something has changed VERY recently. Right now Ford Credit shows 0.9% for 36 months and 1.9% for 48 months on the BSBL.

It has been discussed here multiple times. Our dealer explained it to us without us asking. If I were you I would research the terms and conditions for the $1000 order bonus cash, then head over to the Ford Credit site and research their financing specials. Educate yourself, print out the terms and take them with you, ask them to call the regional rep so you can hear them confirm what you are being told is true. Make them prove it to you in writing, or anything other than their word.

Yeah, something does’t sound kosher. When I took delivery of my BS, admittedly a while back, my dealer gave me the $1000 rebate, a $500 rebate, and 0% financing for up to 48 mos. I didn’t even have to ask for them, let alone fight to get them. That’s one reason he’s had my business for three vehicles and 12years!

They are not tied together. You should get both.

In the event you don't get both incentives, here's some financing information.

At 0.9% for 36 mo financing $38.5k payment is $1085. About $15/mo of that is interest

At 1.9% for 48 mo financing $38.5k payment is $ 834. About $32/mo of that is interest

Incentive info from Ford is here: Incentives but seems to vary by zipcode.
Some dealers seem to offer their own financing, so that's an unknown.

I've seen no language that makes them exclusive (either/or).
My dealer offered both the $1k incentive and 0.9% financing without any prompting from me. Others here had the same experience.

The difference in interest paid between 0.9% for 36 months and 3.9% for 48 months is more than $1k. If you can’t get both incentives then take the cheaper financing.

That really depends on how much is being financed.

As others have said, there doesn't seem to be any language that says you can have either the rebate or the low interest financing. If your dealer is telling you otherwise, then push them to show you the language in the fine print that says that. Basically, the two offers are separate and would not reference each other for any reason. Your dealer has to prove that is not the case.
