What did you do TO your Bronco Sport today?

Today, I made a cellphone/action camera holder/mount. I'm still debating on the action camera as I might just use my phone for videos. I already made a few on the trail, holding it above the steering wheel while driving, and the actual video quality and POV were good enough for me.

Had to find an old phone for the photo as phones can't take selfies yet.

I went with a cheap phone holder for testing purposes, and a GoPro mount to keep the other 1/4 20 knob from rattling around. I'll probably change the phone mount to something that will pivot down out of the way after I do some testing, as is.

While I was installing it while running the AC I noticed the mileage and thought it was photo worthy.....lol

Looks nice, but not much airflow under the hood. I'd be worried about cooking all the plastic....lol

First Post! I got my BL 10 days ago.

I just washed it for the first time and put a little wax on. I also treated the seats to help prevent dye transfer and dropped in the OEM accessory floor mats and cargo mat.

Your baby looks a little like my BL aka Flint Eastwood!

This afternoon I installed Redline hood struts as well as the Steeda strut tower brace. Took me about a half hour or so to install both.

Curious on how the brace is working. Seeing any big improvements?

I have had it on for only a few days so far. I haven't driven the car in any really spirited way yet so it's hard to tell. But the car does feel different in some undefinable way. Tighter maybe? Something is different, but it's hard to pin down exactly how.

When I hit the trail last week, I lost cell reception and my map. I did come across a fork or two in the trail, but managed to stay on course. I decided I'll take no chances next time and opted for a tablet with built-in GPS. Maybe they all have GPS now? I haven't bought a tablet in forever....lol

The tablet has 256GB's of storage so I've been downloading low-res maps of most of Southern and Central California, parts of Nevada and Utah, all the way to Bronco Off-Roadeo so far. The areas with trails I might try in the future, I've downloaded higher-resolution maps.

I'll probably have to rethink the mount as it might not be sturdy enough. It was an Amazon used, like-new offering and cheap, so worst case, I'll give it to my granddaughter to use with her tablet.

Tired of the rear dash cam un-sticking! I've tried 3 different types of 3M double sided adhesive. It lasts until it gets really hot for a day or two then I notice the camera is hanging.

I got an extra garmin magnetic mounting attachment with extra magnets. The rear camera didn't have the magnetic base that the front one came with, so now they match. I drilled a hole through the (almost) center, and beveled the edges best I could so the head of the machine thread screw will sit flush. Took a worn out flappy paddle on the grinder and made sure it was a flat surface for the receiving end of the magnet to mate up as best as possible. Fender washer and nylock nut on the other side.

Haven't had issues with the front one. But did the same. Also crazy glued the annoying white plastic clips that are almost worthless and like to fall off.
