I can confirm what NHD96 posted for disabling the auto start stop with Forscan. I was successful doing it and it’s easy. The light above the button doesn’t show it’s off, but the icon on the dash does show it’s off. If anyone needs more of a visual with steps I found this video for the big...
Are there instructions on how to disable the start stop with Forscan? I tried the start stop eliminator, but Ford changed the bolt that holds a bracket in so its almost impossible to get the thing where it needs to go. I sent it back. I have used Forscan with my previous Mustang, but have yet to...
Took mine in yesterday morning. I was told typically it's a 45 minute job if lucky, however they have been seeing a lot take much longer.....an hour to hour and half. Mine took almost 3 hours. The first attempt at the update failed immediately. Thankfully no other issues. So for anyone going in...
Yes I would get it changed. I don't drive mine much either as I work from home, but regardless I always change oil at least once a year no matter where my miles are at. If you're being told to change it there's a reason and will keep your engine healthy especially with a turbo engine.
The oil...
The big question is why is your warning light coming on at 2500 miles? Is your car sitting for a long time? Don't drive it much? Has it been a year? If thats the case change the oil and reset the oil life in the settings.
Another option is the start stop eliminator from 4Dtech. They have an install video and it is super easy compared to previous models, however only if yours has the 7mm bolt and not the newer security bolts that Ford switched to.
I have a bunch of Brad Keslowski Nascar parts a Chris Buescher race won front end, best of show trophies I won with my Mustang I no longer have and the usual tools, etc..
There was a good video from a Toyota rep who says proper break in is crucial for an engine to last long. The whole you dont need to break it in, its already broken in or drive it like you stole it is not true. Across the board its take it easy for the first 600-1000 miles. Toyota even says 1200...
I was looking to change the timing for the rear 12 V since it stays on for who knows how long. Hooked up a dash cam and was still on several hours later. Looks like I'll wait a bit to get another Forscan device. I had one with my Mustang, but sold it.
A lot of the Ford dealers in the Tampa area do the same thing especially if its run by Morgan Auto Group. I live 1 mile from a shady Ford dealer who gives you a bunch if cheap useless add ons and forces it. The dealer in Davenport and hour and a half away I found had a package add on, but didn't...
The fact that Ford still uses prop rods in 2025 just blows my mind.
I took advantage of the prime sale on them. I also ordered a dash cam and a start stop eliminator from 4dtech that's also on sale. I had one on my 21, but install looks way easier on the 25's.
I've been suing Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Graphene Infused To The Max Wax since it came out with amazing results. I also have used the spray flex wax. Also put it on my new 25. For interior they make a good spray interior detailer and a cermaic/graphene one. For leather seats, leather honey...
