This may help some, but of course not everyone.
If you are using the brake auto hold function if you have it, turn it off. See if the noise persists. My wife was complaining about the loud noise last week. I checked it out and it was super loud. Turned the auto hold off and noise is gone.
Since the 1.5's are port and direct injection and already has an oil seperator they aren't needed, but it doesn't hurt if one wants one. Direct injection and turbo they dont hurt at all. They do collect oil. I always run them on my 5.0 Mustang's just like the local Mustang shop and put one on...
LOL @ 16 more hp. Read any of the fine print or see how they actually come up with those numbers. No tune good luck getting anything close to that in the real world or on a dyno . It's just like in the Mustang world. See it all of the time. Get a cai without a tune then people wonder why it ends...
Unless you plan on tuning it and don't care about your warranty, don't waste your money. It won't do a thing. Cold air intakes are pretty much eye candy without a tune. I see it all of the time in the Mustang world. People believe the marketing, don't read the fine print on how the manufacturers...
There's always the debate if they are needed or really help because of direct injection, etc.. The Sports have oil seperators already on them, they just can't be emptied so is one really needed? Most likely not. I have one on my V8 Mustang and always used them on turbos so I put a JLT on the...
I finally took our Bronco in for the noise we had. It was due for an oil change and had the oil seperator recall and checked to see if they could do the front brake pad one. Told them about the rattle noise and the possibly cable issue. They replaced the front brake pads and noise is gone. It...
No ceramic coating will protect against any scratches. If they claim it will they are full of it. They are great for shine, uv protection, cleaning/maintenance and they last a long time. You just have to make sure to do any paint correction prior to applying.
I have one on mine. Have one on the Mustang too. The Bronco collects way more, but expected being a turbo. Even if not really needed I know it collects oil so I'm happy with it.
I use a Vantrue N4 on my Mustang. Havent put one in the Bronco yet. I needed one that would withstand the Florida heat and get 3 views. Been going strong for a year now. Only downfall is no wifi.
No idea if anyone has Geico, but I can get an extended warranty from them that covers everything for around $16 a month with a $100 deductible. Have to sign up before 15k miles though. Might be worth seeing if your insurance company offers a warranty thats cheaper vs Ford.
Some noise is normal due to the type of pads and rotors used, but not ones that sound like a ship is arriving at a port. The sad part is unless your vehicle throws a code Ford and the dealerships tell you its operating as intended. They don't want to do anything.
Has anyone seen how the entire parking cable is replaced? It looks to be a $60 part for the revised cable. Considering how terrible my local dealers service is with messing things up I'd much rather just pay for a new one and replace it myself.
For those that did get it replaced any pics of...
