There is no rational reason to replace my '21 BS BL. It's paid for, functional, reliable, fast, great in the snow, low mileage. My wife loves the quasi-self-driving feature.
I wish it was bigger, mostly for the sake of my growing teenagers in the back seat. A smoother, more refined ride would be nice. That's really it, I still like the Bronco Sport a lot.
Yet here I am, ogling 4runners, Land Cruisers and 7-speed MT Broncos. Honda Ridgelines. Transit passenger vans. Old Porsche Cayennes. And pretty much any vehicle ever made with a long roof.
We don't have the money or the need for any of these cars, as my wife would quickly remind me. Why is it so hard to just be happy with the car you have?
