Hello!
Just purchased a '23 Bronco Sport Base in Area 51 blue. Downsizing from a Yukon XL Denali. Three of my four kids are now driving so I didn't need such a huge vehicle. Looking forward to doing a bit of off-roading here locally and maybe some desert trips. Past vehicles have included Toyota and Nissan trucks, a first gen Isuzu Trooper, a Honda Passport (rebadged Isuzu Rodeo), a Dodge Durango, and a first gen Mecedes ML. Oldest son has a fourth gen 4Runner, so we have offroaded that a bit. Into mountain biking and longboard surfing. Stoked to have found this site!

We're pretty excited to join the Bronco Sport club. Just purchased His and Hers Bronco sports. Mine is Eruption Green and Hers is I believe Area 51 Blue. All I need is to buff out the scratches on the hoods and I'm ready to go right? he he right?

Mine is almost ready to go. I'm just waiting for my hood to arrive and then I have to paint it.

Hers we just bought yesterday, so it will be a couple more weeks til it's on the road.

Is there active FORSCAN discussion on this site? I have a couple of F-150s so I'm very familiar with Forscan.

Thank you. From your handle, I guess I'm not the only one who noticed the similarities between the 2010ish Escapes and our Bronco Sport?
I had a 2006 that the sport ended up replacing. That wasn’t the plan but it worked out ok.

Ford noticed, too. That was a big driver of the Bronco Sport's development. There was still a strong customer preference for a boxy CUV/SUV, in particular the '04-'06 Escapes (even though the '13-'19's were the best sellers).

I hated the new Escapes.

On another note, I used to have a Ford Flex which was kind of my dream car. It handled amazing in the snow in Park City, but that's not the same as saying that it handled the snow well. I ran through two bumpers in two years and then it was totaled when I hit a snowdrift that broke thebumper again, but this time knocked loose the Adaptive cruise module and they couldn't get a new wiring harness.

As I was mourning my beloved Flex I was pleased to discover it was gone but not forgotten. The 4-door FS Bronco looks strikingly similar if you look past all the rugged plastics.
