Pretty cool would love to see more pictures. With those numbers you have had to do more than just a downpipe and an e30 tune.
Tbh i was mainly showing off the downpipe install since that for me was one of the biggest hurdles in trying to figure out if the maverick one would fit.
I look under broncos and Mavericks all day and they look like the same cats but u never know till you go for the install.
Ive made previous post about tunes but I didnt expect me proving several maverick parts would fit on the bronco would cause such a stir
Mods lists:
S@b intake
Circuitwerks catless downpipe
1 step colder plugs
Cobb accessport Pro tune from tuneplus on both 93 and e30(i swap between the two since i tend to get lazy/tired of checking e85 levels from the gas station with this tester i have. For example the bronco has a 16 gallon tank so thats about 5 gals of E85 and the rest 93)
Steeda rear swaybar
Boomba lower maverick engine mount
My old mountune focus rs PTU brace fits our ptu surprisingly enough
Front strut bar for the maverick (dont remember the brands name)
Front and rear pcv catch cans for the maverick
Custom intercooler piping ive made myself since no manufacturer sells any currently(plus it was to mock up the install of the maverick CVF big intercooler which i ordered) went from a 1.75 diameter intercooler piping to 2.5 for flow and hopefully will fit the new intercooler.
Obviously hp and torque numbers are rounded up a lil cause who wants to do exact math, but on e30 its definitely around 300-315whp and 370-390ftlbs, you have a catfish ST in ur pic(my favorite model miss my 2013) on full bolt ons they make that much on e30
On 93 we are looking more around 250 ish whp which is great considering that number is what the broncos maybe get at the crank fully stock. And around bout 350 wheel torque.
What am i losing via awd and automatic transmission? Couldnt tell you till i hit a dyno. But my brick on wheels scoots and that makes my day.
All the others commenting about the transmissions max tq rating and them breaking while stock? All i can say to that is welcome to the new car buying experience. You either buy a brand new car and its instantly a lemon. Or a car that has no issues ever.
Ive bought my badlands in july of 2021 when they FIRST landed at the dealership i worked at. Someone ordered this fully spected out badlands and didnt purchase it due to covid and i jumped on it. I launch this car off the line DAILY. And so far knock on wood...
Not a single issue. Only issue ive ever had with it was the agm battery randomly dying thats it after 5 years of owning it
It definitely helps that the transmission tune turns off 2nd gear entirely and makes it into a 7 speed transmission. And definitely deactivating skip shifts more then likely helps also.

That's pretty cool, still not too far out. The transmission controls are probably a huge factor.

My ST is a 2014. It's back to stock right now. I'm actually going to try to get it smoged this morning. Finally got my oxygen sensor and oxygen sensor heater monitors to show ready.

Otherwise I'm stock motor and turbo, full bolt on, catless, e30 tuned using adaptX from monster tuned. Lots of mods. I'll be putting my non California compliant things back on soon. Only thing that has a C.A.R.B sticker is my mishimoto charge pipes. And they don't seem to mind my bigger intercooler, so that stays on.

Thanks for all the information I have a 2025 XLT AWD Maverick with the 2.0 EB but I would imagine the down pipe you're using wouldn't work on the 2025 Mavericks and 2025 Badlands BS with the 2.0 EB?

Hard to say. Depends if your model gets the normal 2.0 ecoboost or that new style 2.0 mfg engine due to several changes in design especially the whole extra port injection probably changed a lot of mini things we wouldnt expect till u get ur hands in there.

THAT WOULD RUIN A PEACEFUL NEIGHBORHOOD.
I used a Binaural rode mic when recording this clip for the best audio capture possible for the post (nothing i hate more then a phone mic tuning down because it wants to pick up unimportant things)
I promise you its honestly very silent on cold start and these sub 30 degrees down here ive been definitely figuring out the noise levels.
On start up the wastegate actuator stays closed to help warm up the car so not much sound really comes out when you listen to it.
Sounds quieter then my neighbors f150 raptor on start up i promise you

From the Book of Shelby 4:27: "Inline motors shall be kept as quiet as possible, so as to not annoy the populace nor embarrass the owners, unless thou runs a diesel. To do otherwise is an affront."
I am a boomer also & if you want to call me a grandpa also go ahead, but I have to agree with Carrol Shelby. V8 loud good, everything else quiet.

My original point was that inline motors--regardless of cylinder count--sound like crap with exhaust mods (with the possible exception of Honda inline four UJM's). V's, whether 2, 6, 8, 10, or 12, always sound terrific. I dunno, maybe I've just got more testosterone than soy milk in my bloodstream. ;)

My F150 with the EcoBoost has an exhaust. On a cold start or at idle, it sounds really good (imo), but once the RPMs climp, it sounds like total and complete crap (imo again). I feel the same way about Ford's 4-cylinder engines.....they don't sound good (to me) when you open the exhaust up.

With that said, I am a big fan of people maximing the performance out of their vehicle. Kudos to the OP for making his vehicle his own. If they weren't so expensive and a huge PITA to install, I would buy downpipes for my truck, too; even though I know damn well it would make my truck sound even more like crap than it does now. Why? Because for me, the extra performance gains are well worth my exhaust sounding crappier. Not to mention with the downpipes, when driving around normally like I do 95% of time, you can hear the turbos doing their thing even at low load, which is beautiful music to my ears.

Why does a 1000 cc DOHC motorcycle engine sound so good while a four-banger car engine sounds so bad?

Some of it is firing order. I had a 2011 Triumph Tiger triple with a conventional firing order that sounded great and was sewing machine smooth. I bought a 2023 to replace it and it has a cross-plane crank. It sounds terrible and vibrates like crazy all for 5 extra ft. Lbs. of torque. My 2008 Gold Wing sounded like a Porsche 911 with its 1800 cc boxer engine.

Loves me some Trumps. My favorite after the Honda quads was the Kawasaki Mach III 500 triple, aka the Popcorn Machine. Two-stroke madness, it'd pop a wheelie dropping from fifth to third on the freeway at 70 mph. Surprised I didn't kill myself on that thing. Wearing a helmet only ensured you'd be somewhat recognizable after the crash.

What did you install? It has a deep rumble. Almost Harely style, to my ears.
