So, basically a downgrade across the board. Looks like I lucked out with my '25. Only thing I should have done differently is buy it from @fordvideoguy!

Thank you for your work. One takeaway I made about the 2026 Badlands trim is that Sasquatch is still an offering with some 2025 items stripped out of the package, and that those items can be added back in as options. The key here, I guess, is what are the price differences.

I am curious about any changes to the 2026 BL standard and optional tires and interior colors/materials beyond the bronze pigments already announced.

Every year seems to have had a lot of downgrades — that’s why I’m holding on to my ’21 with a death-grip.

Don't disagree at all. Several "what the heck?" moments:
  • 8" instrument cluster (vs 12.3" on '25s)
  • no wireless charging pad
  • no universal garage door opener
  • they gutted the Black Diamond off-road package
    • rubberized cargo mat*
    • cargo management system (shelf)*
    • rubberized seat back mats*
    • fender tie-downs*
    • interior grab handle (passenger side of center console)
    • adjustable floodlights on the tailgate*
    • steel plate on rear bumper w recovery hooks*
  • no rain sensing wipers
  • Badlands Sasquatch package loses the brush guard*
* can be added as an option/upgrade

What else are we losing with that price increase? And how many shades of white do we need?

I agree with Bill G.......my '21 BB was sort of bare bones when I bought it new, now it seems like it's fully loaded compared to current new packages. Car manufacturers are pretty sneaky with making "comes with" become an option. $$$$$$$$$$. Bronco on.

The whole Bronco(Big and Sport) family for MY26 is worse in my opinion. What is Ford doing up there?

Listening to the changes I conclude that I feel just like I did last year—I’m glad I got a 2024 rather than a ‘25 or ‘26. They have eliminated a few small things I’m glad I have, but they haven’t added anything I wish I had on my 2024.

The only thing I wish I had on my Bronco Sport Big Bend is a small thing and perhaps silly, but I wish I had body-colour door handles to go with the body colour roof. The only way to get body-colour door handles is to pay more for the Outer Banks, but then you’re stuck with a blacked out roof which I really don’t like.

To be honest I have a 23 BSBL and I wouldn't buy a newer (25) one because they put the big screen and got rid of the physical controls. If they pull that screen out and put the physical controls back, I would again consider the BSBL as an option. The removal of physical controls was a HUGE deal breaker for anyone who lives in an area that has seasons. You dont want to get into a car in -4F and have to jack ass around trying to use a frozen/cold screen to adjust heat and defrosters etc...

The removal of some features and options looks like a cost cutting move, but cutting some of those things like universal garage door opener and wireless charging pad are puzzling because they’re likely popular and it really shouldn’t cost them much at the factory level. True a built-in remote garage door opener isn’t a big deal, but it is nicely convenient. The wireless phone charger even more so. The loss of lane-keeping assist (if I heard that right) is no big deal given I wouldn’t be surprised if most people turned it off anyway.

Removal of the brush guard as standard on the Sasquatch Package also isn’t a big loss since you can still get it if you really want it, but you’re not stuck with it if you don’t like it.

The introduction of Orange Fury looks like a call back to the Bronco Sport’s original Cyber Orange. But why two shades of White? Thats weird. Mind you some manufacturers offer multiple shades of grey—boring! The introduction of yet another black or charcoal coloured wheel is also boring—all black wheels being something I have never liked.

It’s less about the removal than making them additional cost items on top of packages that previously included them. I haven’t seen pricing yet, but I doubt the new package cost is less (or the same) as prior years. This is all about maximizing Ford’s profit, not matching inclusions to demand.
