Here's my personal data point. I placed a retail order at the dealership for a 26 BL about ~12 days ago. On Nov 6 I received notice from Ford confirming receipt and 3 days later an order # with VIN arrived which stated: "The production of your 2026 Broncosport Badlands™ vehicle is slated to...
I've searched a bit and could not find a direct answer to my question about ordering. Yesterday I signed the in-house and Ford retail forms ordering a 26 BSBL. How longe before you received notification from Ford that your order had been received? Email, I presume. Thanks.
My folks married and started a family in 1936 at the height of the Depression. They left me with financial lessons (not calculations) that have been helpful. Near the top of the list is "always live below your means." It's been a guiding principle for me, things tend to work out better when I...
Thank you for your work. One takeaway I made about the 2026 Badlands trim is that Sasquatch is still an offering with some 2025 items stripped out of the package, and that those items can be added back in as options. The key here, I guess, is what are the price differences.
I am curious about...
Yep, that's my thinking. The 25 BL seems to be pretty well sorted out and the 26 will hopefully address further issues if they exist. I'm asking Santa for ventilated seats in the 26, but that's about it.
Yeah, I agree. I've become partial to ventilated seats so there's that -- we'll see. I rarely tolerate paying more for paint and usually focus on what' standard (unless its black).
Thanks for sharing your experience. It's encouraging to have comments after consistent, personal, and long term seat time in the BSBL. I'm even beginning to lean more towards adding the Sas package to the Badlands. I'll make a final decision after the minor 26 upgrades are announced to see if...
Yes. I've poked around a bit about this possibility and choices are, for now, limited with potential for sensor/camera issues. I'm interested only in modest radiator and engine protection. Probabilities of deer strikes are relatively low but I'm influenced by several friends over the decades...
I'm going back and forth in my thinking about a 26 BL sas vs. non-sas. I've done test drives of 25s on pavement and think tires are mainly responsible for perceived differences in this setting. Off road, the sas advantage is pretty clear. My main interest in the bull/brush bar is for modest...
Here's a 2 year-old Car Confections BSBL review -
At 22:51 they include a decibel measurement compared to competitors.
I’m getting way out over my skis, but I do remember that dB is logarithmic. I dug around a little bit and found this concise explanation "(an) Increase of 3 dB represents a...
Thank you. I am looking for competence with "more" without sacrificing too much competence in "routine." It seems that the BSBL is unicorn-ish in these respects. It also appears that several teething issues have been addressed by the fifth iteration, which is always nice.
Makes sense. I've read positive comments over the past few months about the BS being almost nimble in those lower speed roundabout settings, parking lots, et al. The short WB certainly contributes. I will definitely look into the Steeda products after I've eventually made my purchase and driven...
I laughed out loud.. "Heavy foot." Thanks. I've been duly reassured by the folks here and will likely look at what the 26 spiffs up (maybe vent front seats?). If the 26 juice is not worth the squeeze, I'll be looking for a deal on the 25.
Thanks, spot on and very helpful. So many reviewers and owners seem to concentrate on the surprisingly good BS off road performance, that road trip/around town is not addressed to the level that answers my question. I appreciate your use of the word "fun" and pointing out the importance of...
Thanks, our impressions of the CX-5 are identical. I know I'll be giving that up, but the tradeoff is, I think, worth it -- at least for my current stage of life. I just don't want pavement handling to be so bad that it's a pain to drive. I'm certainly not getting that impression from those who...
Great response. Your experience is helpful. Funny you mention the CX-50. I had a non turbo model as a loaner when my Sig was having valve seals replaced on Mazda's dime (my experience with Mazda's reliability/responsiveness has been excellent). As a result, I would never choose a CX-50 over a...
